    All:

My son is a Mechanical Engineering student at Purdue. Although this is his second year, at the end of the spring, he will be close to having junior level credits. He is looking for an internship and thought this forum might have folks that are in the tech field that would have leads for a job. Although we live in the Chicago area, he is willing to go to another state if the opportunity is right. Thanks in advance for any leads!

    Here is his LinkedIn URL...

WPAFB AFRL Dayton Ohio. Four labs; Sensors, Materials, Propulsion, Flight Dynamics, and aeromedical is there too. A colleague just got back from Perdue looking for students to work, summer programs, etc. your son may know about them already.

Wish I could help. I'm heading to Purdue for their career fair in a few weeks...I need Structural Engineers and I can't find them for shit right now. I tried to hire a few MEs, but none of them had geotechnical experience and therefore would struggle way too much in our field.

Have him call Exxon/Mobil. They pay for interns and are always looking for new blood. Easy 6 figures after graduation. They’ll usually send USA college kids To Italy for a year during their tenure before graduating.

Would this apply to Chemical Engineering grads as well? Asking for a friend. Thank you!
