I'm certain this was a pinhead. Who else would bring a Torx tool and remove a valuable WH20 topper, including the waterfalls? In my opinion, most non-pinheads wouldn't even notice it was missing (like my house cleaners).
How do you know it wasn't somebody in the cleaning crew?
