Unfortunately, I don't think the megatron cannon does anything but it certainly looks like a ball can fit out of that cannon. How cool would it be if the entire megatron piece lowered on ball 4 lock then launched all balls out of the cannon?
Anyway, pics look sweet. I wonder how the starscream battle works.

Yes, that really would have put the LE crazy over the top, but I'm afraid it's just for show.
I wonder if the cannon has a flasher in it and when the balls shoot out it blinds the hell out of you.

I think that was the original concept but probably got cut to 4 balls due to cost.

Now at home seeing the pics on the big screen. WOW! I thought the cannon was actually gonna shoot them out of the cannon? I was probably wrong though. They talk of this in the video. I'll have to watch again.
ohhhhhh.. I keep staring at the pics and I can honestly say I think they did a great job with them. The pro is adequate and fun. The le is just cool. I hope the gameplay is up to speed so it goes down as one of sterns best. I love the look of the Decepticon edition. I chose Autobots. The regular LE is quite cool too.
I hope they start shipping early next week. As far as looks, i think Decepticons cabinet and trim looks best. But love the looks of the autobots backglass. Dont know if i like the LE looks yet, probably will look better in person.

+1That's what I ended up getting - I like that it carries the PF split color theme to the cabinet. But the color schemes on all three look very good.

They seem to have done a very nice job on the enhancements. Really hard to tell without playing one yourself. The mini playfield top right seems like a small IJ controllable playfield. Not sure I fully get it as all you do is bounce back and forth - sure I'm missing something ultra cool. Scarstream moving back and forth during his mode is nice touch.
I'd love to see Megatron transforming per tatman, as that could be awesome. Should transform based on pre-release video with Gomez playing with it at his work table. Still very much on fence. Hope to get some plays on one before too late. The fan layout just feels bunched to me as it did when I played at Expo. I may be wrong with all the wonderful toys. Congrats owners on a nice effort by Stern.
