    Quoted from Allibaster:

Ebay is cracking down on this. They'll look through your messages, and if any non-eBay contact info is shared, they'll say you violated the terms and charge you the final fees.
Someone on Pinside posted their experience with this not too long ago even though the pin was purchased by someone else off of eBay.

Yup I got an email from them telling me I was in violation when I had a Pro Basketball listed recently. They didn't charge me fortunately. And I was willing to complete the sale through eBay. I was surprised on how many potential buyers wanted to complete it outside the listing. The trouble with higher dollar games is most buyers also realize the fees involved and know it's in both your best interests if you can complete a sale off of Ebay.

    Quoted from phil-lee:

So how do you arrange for a potential Buyer to play the machine(or look at the Product) before final Sale?

I'm guessing someone is reading all the correspondence. Hopefully they are intuitive enough to understand that situation. They may not if the auction get's ended prematurely. Fortunately I let mine run the duration and then sold off Ebay afterward. I felt no obligation to sell through them after an unsuccessful auction. Still enough to get a warning email from them though. I have always heard people say they are done with selling on Ebay for years but I never had an issue so I continued on. This still isn't really a major issue for me but enough of a red flag for me to reconsider moving forward.
