    Quoted from pezpunk:

great plan ... so long as the apocalypse strikes in your lifetime. in which case ... congrats?

If the shit hits the fan who cares about silver and gold? The "valuable" things will be food, clean water, guns, bullets and liquor. If someone would come and say I will trade you this gold necklace for food I would say hit the road.

How many billion/trillion dollars is the liquor industry every year? Liquor will have value even if not used for drinking.

    Quoted from pezpunk:

I've got the windows open in my office, and even though it's like 40 degrees out, it's at least 70 degrees in here, haha.

Look on the bright side. What you are spending on electricity you are saving in heat.

    Quoted from ExtremePinball:

then one is obviously materialistic and/or easily manipulated by appearance alone.

Same goes for cars if you spend $2600 for a oil change and spark plugs you don't need.

    Quoted from vicjw66:

Haven't heard much from user extremepinball out of Vegas lately. When bitcoin was near 20k he was bragging about all the money he was making and how he was going to invest a shit ton more in all these risky cryptos, while bashing anyone who dared question the wisdom of his investing strategy. Every time his portfolio went up he posted here about it. I wonder how his portfolio is looking now? Crickets

He hasn't logged in for 3 months. His computer was probably repo'd.

    Quoted from vicjw66:

This guy was pissing on all of us skeptics last year. I believe he predicted bitcoin was going to be trading at $100k by this time. One of his last posts here was about selling a bunch of his pinball machines to invest more in the crypto market and we were all stupid for sitting on the sidelines. Wonder how he's doing.

We haven't heard anything because he had his power turned off.
