    Quoted from rotordave:

Being correct has nothing to do with being politically correct.

I feel like I need to say this fairly often to people in today's world when they are whining by political correctness but are just plain wrong.

    Quoted from rotordave:

Being correct has nothing to do with being politically correct. (PC)
Maybe you need to research that word while you’re studying that 250m business a bit more. It’s very trendy to throw around “PC” but I find most that do actually don’t know what it means.
PS thanks for the thumbs down on my posts. Part of being an intelligent human is being able to realise when you’re wrong, or have made a mistake. You get more karma for maybe admitting you were wrong, rather than childishly thumbing down those who put you back on the right track. Hey, we could have saved someone’s life savings there... possibly yours. Thanks.

Haha thats funny. I actually agree with what your saying, And you have already saved my life so for that I am grateful and thank you!

How's my pick genesis vision doing? Its on a little old exchange called binanace

    #1561 6 years ago

    Binance isn't accepting new accounts.

    #1563 6 years ago

They can always move offshore if that's a concern. Coinbase is already registered so it's not a big deal.

Really let me se if I can send you a referral link to binance when I get home later today... I am buying the dip today is all I got to say. I believe in this market. That being said you need to do your own research as there are a lot of scams and bad investments out there. I don't let the FUD get to me at all. I am not telling anyone to invest, this is just my opinion and what I am doing. I am not a financial advisor. If crypto has no future I wonder why "Circle" purchased Poloniex crypto exchange? Circle is backed by Goldman Sachs..

Binance is having some technical issues today as I have been reading the tweets from the owner. A lot of services are suspended like all withdraws right now are suspended and I believe you can only deposit and trade. The down time is supposed to be like 10 hours. Maybe they also stopped new accounts while they are fixing the problems just a thought.

Oof, if that's true you should be loading up bigtime today! XMR down 15%!

    Quoted from vicjw66:

My kid was just born and it is an almost certainty that he will pay for things with cash. Those who think otherwise are absurd. It will be at least another 20-30 years at a bare minimum before cash goes away.

It depends on what country you live...in kenya right now they are exchanging cell phone minutes for goods and services.

Hard Fork delayed till the end of April now. Date moved from March 14th

This seems like a sketchy business venture folks. But hey, the risk takers are statistically the winners, right?

Too much volatility and surprises for me.

I'm looking for a nice metal detector / weapons company to invest in. Seems to be where they are steering us....

news flash: bitcoin goes up and down. it's still up 700% compared to one year ago. can your investments say the same?

    #1580 6 years ago

Sure. When was the last time it went up 10% in one day?

    Fake money = Fake returns

    #1588 6 years ago
    Quoted from Cleanroom:

    Fake money = Fake returns

it's pretty trivial to move between Bitcoin and US Dollars once you get an account set up. I have a debit card that i use everywhere, funded purely by my cryptomining. the house for my family's vacation next week was paid for with cryptomining as well. my returns most certainly were not fake.

    #1589 6 years ago
    Quoted from Cleanroom:

    Talk about a non sequitur.

Why do people come on the cryptocurrency thread just to say stuff like this? What's the point? If you don't like it or don't care about it, don't come here and comment. Too many snowflakes are outraged about things that have nothing to do with them these days.

Threads like these bring out the trolls.

    #1592 6 years ago

Picked up a tiny bit of ARK and NEO. Mostly just to see how moving coins to another exchange and then trading worked. Pretty simple actually.

I also bought something with Bitcoin today...first time.

    A yacht?

    #1594 6 years ago

Ha! (no). Maybe in 5-10 years...that or some chicken nuggets from McD's.

    #1596 6 years ago

Just as an FYI my last Bitcoin transaction cost me 13 cents.

    #1597 6 years ago
    Quoted from Astropin:

A cash transaction would have cost $0.00.

I'm just busting balls, I'd love for the usual suspects to lower fees and have to actually be competitive, but I'm not holding my breath.

Glad it's working out for you.

Because you only sent 42 cents

Strange, usually people complain that "snowflakes" are the ones needing a safe space.

Transaction fees are not based on amount of the transaction.

A cash transaction would have cost $0.00

    You don’t get it.
