The Bon Voyage for sale is mine. I have an interested buyer in Kentucky, however the shipping quotes we are getting are about $500+. Any inexpensive shippers out there?

Quoted from Sea_Wolf:Gottlieb ‘Strange World’ just came up on EBay.

Why 2 "Total Play" meters?
Quoted from jrpinball:Ok. Who's going to pop on this one?

Some Canada Dry exec should put it in their office. Very sharp looking machine.
Quoted from jrpinball:A decent condition Gottlieb woodrail. No bids and a little over 22 hours to go at the time of this posting.

Road trip??? That's a hike!
Quoted from Sea_Wolf:Here you go guys. Just a 30 hr drive for me and no reserve for a beauty with 100% feedback seller.

"Beauty"? That webbing is looks funky.
Quoted from jrpinball:It looks like there's two of 'em there. No doubt he's selling the weaker one.
Wow, good eyes there JR. Great looking machine.
Quoted from jrpinball:Not a pin. I know this game is super rare, but REALLY!!! And.... it's an aracde!

I think this seller is jerkin' us off with his alleged offers from billionaires!
And don't "waist" his time with your silly half million dollar offers!
A few things... The back glass is roasted and Ebay will have cash day with that commission. Can I use Paypal??? Hilarious.
Quoted from Gotemwill:Where do we start? At $2k apparently!

"playing surface is in good shape". Such a valiant effort in sales appeal. Poor machine is very tired.
Quoted from Sea_Wolf:Fresh from the Mahoning river. Head must not have been submerged.

I can smell the mouse piss from here. Look at the amount of mouse crap inside the cabinet.
Quoted from AlexF:I sold a less than perfect Gold Strike with new backglass and plastic set for $900 years ago. The layout looked so interesting and has a cool art package. Early in my collecting days I thought it would be my grail but I don't miss it. It's very repetitive and once you get a good game going it lasts forever to the point of being boring. I'm an AAB guy but am guessing El Dorado is infinitely better. It has to be?
I had a pristine Gold Strike that I sold. I didn't care for the layout. The upper flipper arrangement was the reason.

I'll sell my restored machine for that!!!
IMG_0055 (resized).JPGQuoted from Electrocute:Doubt it sold. El Zero was the happy bidder followed by Numero Tres!
The bidder history looks suspicious.
Quoted from Sea_Wolf:Canada Dry. Reputable seller and in pretty good cosmetic shape. Non working and has some combination of rust-mold-mildew inside.

Looks like someone dragged the machine with the legs on. Separated cabinet corner. I'ld be interested.
Quoted from rocketman:... bid was placed in the last minute. 3 bidders drove it up the last 20 secs.
Winning bidder placed one bid at the time the auction ended. How is that possible?
Your image is odd, in the fact that Ebay shows the winning bidder with 600 rating as the winner. Oh well, the back story to this auction is the seller just acquired them both by going to a storage unit auction. Holy Schamoly what a great find!
Quoted from kangourou:Final price with Florida charges : USD4100.
No wonder, I just sold one of my collection for USD3600 (unrestored and shipping cost from France not included)
Just curious, what would shipping be from France to the U.S.?
Additionally, Shay unfortunately will not be reproducing plastics as earlier mentioned. When Pinball Rescue left, so did the plastics.
Quoted from Fast400:Lol! Here's some more great fungus! Bought two parts heads. This is what arrived...no mention prior to buying! Pictures showed none of this...outside looked decent.
After every great buying experience like this I tell myself, "NEVER again unseen"....until the next great deal pops along. Been dissappointed in peoples honesty so much. Only saving grace here was that the mechanical side of things looked great, even had the schematics still taped to the back.
At least the EBAY seller of the pinball machine shows the pictures of the actual condition.

That can be deadly. If you proceed with any work on this, wear an approved respirator.
Quoted from jsf24:It’s on my list. Wish I was closer and it was in the states.
Wow, that looks very clean!
