Quoted from jrpinball:

Wow. Had my eye on this, but it went for much higher than I thought. I guess the playfield sold it.

I'm with on this JR; needs a cabinet repaint, new back glass; hopefully the playfield will clean up but it's tough buying from pictures.

Yeah, here's 10K. Just what I've always wanted!

I'd love to see what kind on museum that's in; the one photo shows a sheet hanging from the ceiling

JR; if you ever get one of these machines we may have to nickname you the "Birdman"

The credit wheel on sample game is the older half moon style, I didn't realize the shark was speckled on the sample.

I know BGrestro has done the sample glass

Looking again, I would like to look at the backside of the glass as it looks like it's paint loss that gives it the effect of the speckle.

Super nice condition Bally King Tut but the price is a little on the high side for this title IMO. Great art work, not so much on the gameplay remembering playing this as a kid. Better player than RO-GO or El Toro though, and we all know that RO-GO is a NO-GO!

Neat looking game, but only a 5.2 rating on IPDB and only 800 made. You have to wonder why it's rare; maybe because it didn't go over that well.

Although I'm obviously an EM guy, the SS versions of many of these games play much better. The manufacturers began making faster playing games with multiple targets and strategies which simply outgrew EM technology.

Well it's quite a statement Joe,from a true em guy but I have to say I'm a em guy too and just got done shopping a Bally 8-ball man that's a fast playing machine, I can see the transition working for a partial em feeling.
And yes I have the ss version of Joker Poker and Cleopatra.

Those early Gottlieb SS "bleep, bloop, bleep" sound boards really are awful!

At least the early SS machines still retained the chime units which still have you that EM feeling.

Something is odd about the playfield on this game. It looks like maybe it was completely painted over. The graphics are not like the original game.

You would know JR, I recall you having a very nice one at York a few years back.
