Hay-Ride in Massachusetts. Buy it now at $200.
ebay.com link » Ballys Hayride Pinbll Machine

I lost the auction at $ 306. No worries. The buyer/flipper has it relisted now at $ 1,100 OBO.

#5612 6 years ago

Yeah, I screwed it up and put in the opening bid at $ 50 rather than take the $ 200 BIN. I did this after a quick check that showed it was gonna be a 22 hour round trip to pick it up. I figured that by the time the listing ended, I would have either moved on or warmed up to the idea of a crazy road trip.

Why does all the good stuff seems to be up in your neck of the woods ? Anything good always seems to be at least 4 hours away.

5,000 may not sound rare but try to find one. I think someone else speculated that a lot of these went overseas.
Yeah, there is a little too much chrome on this game after closer review. Plus they went to plastic pop bumper skirts instead of the original metal ones. The pictures look washed out or the cabinet color was painted too yellow instead of green.

Wife just discovered the Bally Amigo project that I picked up a couple of months ago.... I too was supposed to be on a pinball hold but I'm a sucker for a cheap project. Love the Bally pins!

I did the same thing but never got caught. Trick is to keep moving them around so they all look the same.

Yes, it looks like ass.

About 2 months ago I was wondering why there were so few EMs and early SSs coming up on EBay and then wham! It’s been a huge run the last 30 days on some really cool machines, including this newly listed bad boy.
Get em while they’re hot.

In Philly. Nice. I’m sure ZNET and Colsond3 are all over this one. Playfield looks better than mine and BG has a couple issus but still very good. Already at 844 with 6 days to go. I’m going to guess it will hit 1,500 min and probably closer to 2k.

1970 Bally King Rex

I am a Bally fan but I would have to guess that the arcade in Hell has a King Rex, El Toro and Ro Go.

Quoted from wolverinetuner:

It also says that you can make an offer. See if the seller will come down from $5,500 to tree fiddy.

If you mean $ 350, I would agree. Faded backglass, cabinet beat with a log chain and probably rust out the wazzoo.

There was a cherry restored one that went for around 5k a year or too ago. I wouldn’t kick one out of bed but the gameplay didn’t do much for me. It is a looker when in nice shape.

Quoted from gdonovan:

If that rest of the playfield looks like the small corner shown I'd not bite at $250. Pile of junk.

C’mon. The cabinet is worth at least $ 50

See ya next Friday.

I saved pictures from the restored Star Jet. THIS is a 5K example. Pure pinball porn.

The restored Star Jet sold 2-1/2 years ago for 4,500.

Easy now. I'm trying to work a deal on this one. Shame that the backglass is faded.

So, this Bally 2 in 1 from 1964 did not get any bids on eBay. I messaged the seller to make a deal but we were several hundreds apart. It ended up on a Columbus, OH online auction site and I ended up snagging this for less than my original offer. My better half was unaware of this so I have stashed the cabinet at work and have the backbox hiding unnoticed amongst the herd. Once I get around to restoring this, I’ll be ringing up BGresto.

68 Bally ‘Rock Makers’. Hell yeah!
Guessing this one would appeal to “4 Million BC” fans and the movie Caveman starring Ringo Starr and babeage.

Aw man, I want Rockmakers. I was all excited to place a bid and then I saw the cabinet...I can fix that.

Then I saw where it was...can’t fix that.

Rare to see any EMs on EBay lately without a ridiculous starting price.

I was thinking the same thing and then yesterday saw a Bally Mad World pop up on eBay for a starting bid of 275. I was interested until I looked at the playfield and BG. Yikes.

Pigpen brought $565. Cool game but I don’t think I’d have the guts. Doesn’t appear to come with playfield glass either.
Somebody must have really wanted it. The bidding was at $286 with only 4 minutes left.

OR the shill bidder lost at musical chairs and got stuck.

SUPER DUPER OVERPRICED
Why not price it at 3 million? Or 10 trillion?
Then again, looks like he's sold a ton of games at healthy prices, so what do I know?

Jeez. Clicked on this and the entire description is SHOUTED in all caps and even different font sizes for added shyster effect.

I didn't read any of it, afraid that the spit ball between his lips would hit me in the face.
