What's bugging you Rat? The blue legs, the tennis shoes in the shot, or way too many zeroes in the BIN price.
It does say Make offer but I know this one isn't up to your standards. Not even close!
Quoted from Noobee:I have a Grand Slam. Hmmm, maybe I can get 7500 for it??
Here's the playfield...
I'd mark it down to $6,500 for quick sale.

Very nice playfield sir.
Quoted from bronco-jon:Seriously though. What is a decent Grand Slam worth?

I messaged the guy in what I thought was a really friendly manner and gave him links to price guides...guy responded with insults.
Maybe link him to a fake price guide where all of the numbers are realistic except for a big "NO FREAKING WAY" where the Grand Slam price would be... :p

Would love to have a copy and paste of those insults.
Quoted from 1974DeltaQueen:8000$ what a mucking foron !

That is very nice. Easy way to tell on this game (and AAb version) is the kick out wear and the rings fade to pink. I had a really nice World Series that was probably the best original condition I have ever had, but still only sold for $850 when finally had to go. The back glass always seem to hold up well on this title, was it a 1972 thing?

Here's my Hi Straight on ebay in case you missed it. Flippers are on the sides of the playfield. IPDB says Molentin did the artwork but someone mentioned it looks more Roy Parker. The blonde looks similar to the girl on GTB '65 Kings and Queens.
Quoted from hoov:IPDB says Molentin did the artwork but someone mentioned it looks more Roy Parker
To me it is obviously Parker.
Quoted from pinwiztom:To me it is obviously Parker.
Oh, gosh. Undubittably Parker!!!
Didn't know this was your game, hoov. Are you going to Allentown? If so, don't bring it. I don't need the temptation!

That's a beauty! Is the cabinet paint original? It's rare to see one with so little fade.

Original but the purple touched up by Bordens

Well..... That explains it. I don't think I have EVER seen a Grand Slam with the cabinet purple matching the backglass purple. Yours indeed looks extremely nice.

That ain't parker, look at the eyes, 2d-profile style faces. Parker's art was miles better.

I agree on the faces, BUT, here's a link to a Keeney game from the same era that I believe IS a Parker glass. So...maybe. Perhaps Roy was having an off day when he did Hi Straight. Or maybe the Birdland artist was having a great day.

Here's the World Series I mentioned earlier. The guy I picked it up from told me it had sat in the 40' truck trailer for over 20 years. (no climate control in New York!) Sunlight was not an issue. I sold it to 'Cash Riprock' for a very fair price.

Not so sure that (Birdland) is a Parker work.
Quoted from AlexF:Parker wasn't exclusive to Gottlieb. He even did a couple Williams games. He most certainly did work for Keeney.
Check out this Flashback I used to own.
Yeah, there more than a few Keeney pins from the late 50s & early 60s
that have artwork looking a lot like Parker, but with the eyes looking off.
Keeney Arrowhead is another where the BG looks very much like Parker,
but the PF is definitely not Parker, more like
the mystery artist that did a lot of WMS and BLY art in early 60s.

Yuck. Nobody knows how to do webbing.
Quoted from pinwiztom:The left side of that head is pretty bad;
was that an attempt at splatter or webbing or vandalism?
That is the best they could do with the medium tip sharpie they had..

You should go state to state teaching people the right technique. That can be your next job.

There was allegedly a pinball artist you never hear about named Louis Reynaud or Raynard or something like that. Tim Arnold mentions him in one of his old "Pinball Gerbil" tapes.
Quoted from pinhead52:Yuck. Nobody knows how to do webbing.
Agreed! They ruined the game. They should have just left it off.

A google search shows Louis Raynaud did the artwork on these Williams games:
'71 Zodiac: http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=2841
'71 Planets: http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=1811
'68 Lady Luck: http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=1404

Those must be recently updated on IPDB because I remember fairly recently doing a search for Louis Reynaud, and nothing came up. Maybe because I spelled it like I just did!
It's not a pinball, but it's worth mentioning. The price is right! I own one and I love mine!

That Buckaroo in Michigan is being sold by an antiques dealer housed in one of those " antique malls". I asked for close up pics of the playfield and asked more about the museum and or previous owner...... No answer, only that it plays and I could inspect it at their booth.

Brad brought one to TPF... and I played the one at PHOF as well. Fun game!
Quoted from bicyclenut:Agreed! They ruined the game. They should have just left it off.
Ruined the game? No fun to play anymore because of the webbing? If you owned it you would give it to me because it's worthless?
