Bally Wizard. Nice project and priced right. $375.00 start bid or $475.00 BIN. Perfect Backglass.
Someone better buy it or it may turn into a parts machine (read listing)

Arghhh!!!! I would jump on that in a heartbeat if it weren't 1000+ miles from me. 250 miles one way is my limit.

This Wizard needs saving too:

Quoted from IntoPinball:

Nice Lord Chesterfield Avatar Joe...

I picked up a case of LCA in cans on a recent trip to PA. not far from Merchant's Square where they used to have the Allentown show. It's way better in cans. Of course I pour it into a chilled glass before enjoying it. A little known fact; the founder of the Yuengling brewery was named David Gottlieb Yuengling! Yes, for real! That's why we call it the "pinball beer"!

It is but I can't.

I have the Super Spin on hold from Brian Lenker, and then all the cash and time the re-theme project is gonna consume...

Come on Power Ball ticket!

Here's a Top Card on Ebay in NEW JERSEY.
This is like the 4th or 5th one that has come up in NJ in the last 6 months.
Top of the line player!

That High Hand looks nice.

Quoted from Rat_Tomago:

Nice 73 King Pin

If you look close at the bottom part of the Playfield Dan it is not that nice as the Paint has been touched up heavily and is over priced for condition by $500.00 at least.

I considered buying it or El Dorado as it is on my list next, but must wait anyway .

Ken

#1371 10 years ago

Ditto on the High hand^^ I kinda like the flip flop ,something you dont see often.

#1372 10 years ago
Quoted from Pin-it:

I kinda like the flip flop ,

Played that game plenty Junior year in high school at a sandwich shop close by. When i first got in the hobby I considered buying one for memory sake but that did not work so well with my Target Alpha as it was a disappointment. Flip Flop would be fun for a few games though.

So, that very worn playfield Fast Draw closed for $651 today. Too rich for my cheap A$$.

I could see someone getting that if they were going to buy the New Wade Krauss Playfield for $500.00 to go with it but no one bought the Playfield, so go figure.

Looks like you had a lot of competition.
Sometimes it's better if you don't win. I'm sure there will be another day.

Any guesses as to whether the reserve gets met and the final price of this holy grail Mermaid?

I'll say the reserve gets met and final price will be $14,100. It could easily go higher with the right two bidders.

If the seller just throws in some paint for the playfield , its a steal.

Other than the playfield, it's not bad. I think there's at least one of those Clay repro PFs floating around.
There was a complete head only for a "Mermaid" at the Allentown show a few years back. Ed D had it and wanted
quite a bit of coin for it, but in retrospect I wish I had grabbed it.

I agree, just a bit pricey but then again its not everyday you see one.

#1380 10 years ago

i know a few people who bought the repro pf to hang on the wall.
but i doubt the price will hit 10k on this one

#1381 10 years ago
Quoted from boilerman:

The guy originally had this on St. Louis CL listed for $13,000. He got flooded with e-mails/calls and went to an appraiser to get it appraised. Then he threw it on ebay.

#1382 10 years ago

you might be right ebay buyers can drive the price up quite a lot.
i thought 9500 tops but have been wrong before

#1383 10 years ago

i guess that pf drove people away! 6300 final

#1384 10 years ago

The high bidder ($6300) tried 3 extra times to meet the reserve but didn't get it done, Makes you wonder how high he went.

#1385 10 years ago

with that bad pf it will be very hard finding someone that has a repro that will part with it. otherwise you have a mermaid with a blownout pf.
he should of sold it for 1300 on CL but greed tends to take over
i bet it goes back on CL

Don't know what he was offered when it was on CL but it surprises me there was only one serious buyer. I heard of one person that had the repro pf and contacted the guy when it was on CL.

Hey boilerman, did you come across a 2nd Target Pool? I miss the ding-ding-ding of the lit yellow arrows for 300 pts.. Shooters paradise......

#1387 10 years ago

yes i picked up 2 pins from a barn, target pool and spin a card.
target pool pf cleaned up very nice i will restore it and find it a new home
SaC didn't clean up so well
TP is a great game chasing the yellow arrows is a blast on the 2" flipper

#1388 10 years ago

Couldn't agree more......

#1389 10 years ago

Theres a TP at Pinballz down here that i love to play. The other day the special relay was stuck so we rolled up 14 free games before we let the tech know what was happening

You could play awhile on that game. Do you shove in coin or is that place $5 an hour or $20 a day like the ones I've heard of (none close to me).

#1391 10 years ago

Its coins. Games range from 50 to 1.50 a game

Bout 100 machines total

Only 3 or 4 em machines on the floor. They don't really have a true em tech and I have no time to help out

Poor poor camo paint job (and poor bg)

I like this info. though: It appears that all the guts are there. Ball is "in the well".

Why couldn't that dumbass in Alabama find this one instead of the one he parted out?
