Quoted from o-din:It is even more abinormal that there is a thread of this magnitude where there are a group of of pinsiders that have helped each other, entertained each other, befriended each other, but have never insulted each other.

--Jeff
Quoted from Rat_Tomago:That Surf Champ would have been gone in 15 minutes or less here in Dallas.
Im quicker than that Id have it in 10
--Jeff
Quoted from textrivers:It's been in a barn for 20 years. The playfield glass has been missing for at least that long. The backglass is also gone, but a nice sheet of blue tarp has been cut to fit and taped neatly into place. The cabinet is painted the same color as the barn ("Figured I'd do 'em at the same time, save me some money," says the seller). The raccoons and possums have been fighting a war of attrition with each other over who will have urination rights on the playfield, but to an outside observer it could only appear that both sides have won. The options are: 1) fire and lots of it, 2) painstaking restoration to make it "original," or 3) re-theme.
My friend found two of these. One got donated for a retheme for a school charity auction.
Normally that wouldnt sit well with me but there was nothing to save really...
--Jeff
Quoted from Pin-it:$500 Run dont walk!
Attention: way2wyrd and rat.
I think Nick picked that one up. Nice machine apparently but need some serious cabinet work
--Jeff
Looks like a rats nest to me. My friend sniped it from me but im picking it up tomorrow for him. Ill post some pics when it gets in the garage
--Jeff
Quoted from hoov:Did the black cat come home hungry? Was that rope for hanging laundry? Were those pb caps from another game?
Black cat came home hungry. no critters found. Rope was some pinball Bondage & Discipline i think..
Quoted from CactusJack:I know this game doesn't get much love but its actually a fun game for beginner players (kids etc.). Pops are DC and the game makes a lot of noise since the Side Rebound rubbers score 50 points instead of 10.
I owned this game for a while and its really fun for 2 people. They didnt make 7k of them because they sucked
--Jeff
OK opinion time.
What is this really worth and should it show up in my garage this weekend.
Ive made what i consider to be a reasonable offer and the seller seems willing.
opinions??
--Jeff
Quoted from EM-PINMAN:If you really want it Jeff make an offer right away for the $300-$350 range. The Playfield is hash and would require a complete airbrush paint job. Sounds like it has more problems then just missing screws as well. Cool game once it had a total restore though.
Im a cheap bastard my offer is nowhere near the asking price.
I dont think the pf repaint would be too hard and mechanically im not real worried about it.
Im going to look Friday and we shall see how it plays out
thanks for the opinions
--jeff
Quoted from o-din:Better than screaming for vengeance.
Joust anyone?
Screaming_for_Vengeance_by_kennethac.jpgQuoted from SchertzPinball:I thought they were really high priced when I saw the posting.
I did too. especially for the condition.
--Jeff
Quoted from PMcGee:1976 Fandango Pinball machine - $1300 (hutto)
Nice reconditioned collectible - Paid to have it refurbished 4 months ago. Every light, every bell, every counter and bumper work perfectly. Great action.
Its a nice looking machine. 1300 tho?
--Jeff
Quoted from btw75:I talked with him before he posted it, said he paid S&B over $1000.
I had that same conversation with him. I passed
--Jeff
Quoted from DirtFlipper:Wow - sweet!
Very Im hoping on 2 things
1. The gentleman keeps his word and doesnt sell to the guy that im sure is calling with a double offer
2. ME can take pen off a playfield without to much effort
--Jeff
Quoted from PMcGee:Did you get it?
Quoted from SchertzPinball:I was just wondering this too.
sure did!! Im super happy. It actually plays!! well kinda plays....
I posted a new thread.

Quoted from PMcGee:Right next door to Texas, just 675 miles away and you can drive about 90mph most of the way . . . .
so the ad was posted by the guys son. There are 30-32 machines in the lot. Just for discussion what would be an appropriate offer for something like that
--Jeff
Quoted from PMcGee:1964 Reserve Pinball - project/parts - $100 (ne san antonio)
I wish i would have seen that earlier today, i could have made a field trip
--Jrff
The guy that posted the Austin ads has a nice collection. He posts a couple times a year with reasonable prices on his machines.
He replaces what he sells and keeps the games fresh. Nice guy to do business with for sure
-Jeff
Quoted from ccotenj:wonder if jeff saw that?
do ya think
Im trying the restraint thing too. That and im out of town and out of room. If its still there Friday ill go take a look
I did email tho....
--Jeff
Bowling Queen is a great game. It looks like your whole backglass is sitting too low.
Open up the back and see what it looks like.
Possible the wrong head for the glass? odd
--Jeff
Quoted from hoov:Can't imagine this would last very long.
Quoted from btw75:I'm still in my pinball purchasing freeze.... but I was tempted to lift it for this!

--Jeff
Quoted from Trendkilla254:Why are people flagging CL posts? My post just got flagged on CL.
500.00 for a CC Hi-Flyer...
Me too and also Schertz Pinball Were getting flagged pretty quickly the last couple days.
Ill bet its the douche that send me an email saying he had an "Adams family that had been sitting for a while" that couldnt provide pictures and only wanted me to send my contact info.

Cinderella is also sold out. supposedly remake is "soon"
--Jeff
Quoted from EM-PINMAN:Your the man for the job Jeff, now go get it!
