Nice find. Original glass in great condition too... I'd buy that.
Nico; I might have to check this one out it might entice you to stop by on your tour since I don't own any Williams EM's
Quoted from Vic_Camp:Here's a very sought after wedgehead and great player.

This Eldorado was listed on Ebay for $1995 and didn't sell so I guess he trying the Craigslist route.
Quoted from NicoVolta:I think I know at least four others asking as well. It's getting a lot of attention lately.
We were just talking about the game the other day,Rancho would be on my list as possiblethe first Williams game for the collection.
Quoted from Gerry:Yes and I can't wait. Thanks Dave !
Definitely going for the western theme lately; looks like a good pick.

"The Surf Champ is a rare and hard to find pinball machine."
I played Nic for the championship on my 2 player Surfer. he won but I love that game, you need to get the star roll overs plus the drop targets to light the special and extra balls, great rule set and it's always lets play one more.
Bought mine at the Allentown show last year for a whole lot less $$.

There is nothing there, was it the Playmatic?
Quoted from NicoVolta:That one is cool. It was at TPF a couple of years ago. Phantom images appear in the mirrored section when you light them up.
Totally worth it for $350!
Hey Nick, That's only about 20 minutes from me; I'll pick it up for you if you want to swing by on your next leg of the tour.
Good eye to know where the photo's came from.
Looking at the CL ad, it shows the seller as being southwest of York, PA; yet the ad is posted in the DC CL, that's a red flag.
I always though the best way to work these guys is to ask for another photo, like the serial number and see what happens. Also when they change the location as where the machine is to say hey I have a buddy who lives there, when can we check it out?
Quoted from jrpinball:I feel that I should warn everyone here about a Craigslist seller who is using lifted photos in his ad. If you want to split hairs, he doesn't name the machines he's selling, or claim that the photos are his games, so you could say he isn't actually being dishonest. However, proceed with caution here, and ask for actual photos of the games he's selling if you're dealing with him.
The "Volley" has been sold, but it's not the same one shown in the photo.
The "King of Diamonds" is actually a "Diamond Jack", and not nearly in the condition of the "KOD" pictured.
He does have a Williams "Darling" for sale, but who knows if it's the same one shown in the photos.

Thanks for the heads up JR.
I'm thinking to always ask the seller for the serial number for the game before I make any plans to check it out to help eliminate a potiental scam.
Quoted from jrpinball:No such thing, Vic. It's like a woman saying she's almost pregnant.
Is it too late for birth control?
But as Vic has said some of those Gottlieb System 1 games have the EM feeling to them.
Quoted from DropTarget:Speaking from experience?</blockquote
It's like you go to look at a machine for sale and when you get there to check it out you realize the seller must have posted some pics from online because you got a big suprise when you lifted up the playfield.
Quoted from Grayman_EM:OK, here is the one you want to buy. Prototype only per Pinside database.

Valencia $2400.00 (1) you can't get rarer than that!
Hey the green outfit on the guy will go great with a St Patrick's day party!
Quoted from JethroP:o California next week to it's new home,
I have to ask "Jedd - You strike oil" - for the move to California?
Quoted from jrpinball:Nabbed this one today!
JR - Hopefully you'll bring it to Pinfest next year for free play, would love to give it a try.
Quoted from jrpinball:They are a different animal, but this era game has the tiered cam score motor arrangement that Gottlieb used throughout. Can't be much different than a Gottlieb.
JR - You can handle this, I've only done a few early Bally's and they are definitely a little different but I'm sure you expertise will prevail on shoppign out this game.
Quoted from Gotemwill:Sounds like you need to put it up for sale.
There we go; I've got you thinking on this, would be nice to play.
