Little Chief Not worth their asking price,$500 max imo.
limaohio.craigslist.org link

But, wait - it's VINTAGE.

#4284 10 years ago
Quoted from way2wyrd:

Its a nice looking machine. 1300 tho?
--Jeff

I talked with him before he posted it, said he paid S&B over $1000. I told him I just wasn't interested in paying much for an oddball manufacturer. I have enough to deal with getting the gameplan going.

#4333 10 years ago
Quoted from way2wyrd:

Very Im hoping on 2 things
1. The gentleman keeps his word and doesnt sell to the guy that im sure is calling with a double offer
2. ME can take pen off a playfield without to much effort
--Jeff

CRAP. I better call with a triple offer.

not mine, but just down the road a bit . . .
PINBALL BALLYS - $400 (HUFFMAN)

That is a scary place.

#4386 10 years ago
Quoted from PMcGee:

1966 Wild Wheels Pinball Machine - $1500 (Wylie, tx)
" target="_blank">dallas.craigslist.org link
1966 Wild Wheels Pinball Machine $2,500. Very Good condition, works well.
Contact me for more information.
Cash or major credit card only.

$1,500, $2,500, whatever it takes.

#4399 10 years ago
Quoted from SchertzPinball:

The backglass is kind of crappy on this one.

Dang. I was hoping for "stellar".

Quoted from PMcGee:

SPACE ODYSSEY EM PINBALL - $400 (South Austin)
... the backglass/playfield are in pretty stellar condition. I .

The backglass is kind of crappy on this one.

13 hours after I first texted I finally got the pictures. Backglass is nasty.

Derby Day Pinball Machine - $400
" target="_blank">sanantonio.craigslist.org link
Made by Williams in 1967. This game is one of 5220 made. In great working condition, this fun pinball game was originally one ball bidding game, with people who would bet on which horse would be the winner.please email me MorganMX1xxxxxxxxx

derbyday.jpg 32 KB

Almost certain scam. These xxx (AT) Gmail things have been reported as scams on a regular basis. I've seen them in other Craigslist markets as well and the pricing borderline too good to be true.

#4620 10 years ago
Quoted from textrivers:

Pat Hand in MA, $100 OBO:
boston.craigslist.org link
That's my price range, but I'm not a huge fan of that title. (In other words, the few times I played it I got my ass kicked by the bumpers in the lower left and the GAPING right outlane.)

That is most likely a scam. watch for these "(AT) gmail" ads. They all have nice prices.... search a bit and you'll see lots of references to them as scams.

#4677 10 years ago
Quoted from huelagan:

Watch out for those ads with email in the text and no other contact info provided...like that Rancho. It's BS. They email back a link to your email for penny auctions. There are a few showing up all over LA, SD etc. I replied on one a week ago fortunately using a junker gmail account I use for that type of thing. Flag it.

AGREE! Can't say enough. (at) gmail is scam.

#4768 10 years ago
Quoted from Pin-it:

Jungle Queen - $1,500 - only has 11,000 plays on it.
Volley - $1,250 - incredibly clean game.
$2,250 for them both.
pittsburgh.craigslist.org link

http://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/fs-in-the-pittsburgh-area-jacks-open-jungle-queen-top-card-volley#post-1468429

I went after JO + Volley when it was posted here, just couldn't get a deal done.

#4770 10 years ago

The JO was frustrating because there were no pictures, so I couldn't value it highly.

#4817 10 years ago
Quoted from ccotenj:

i wonder if he has any clue how much he is gonna have to "negotiate the price"?

And, if the ball is stuck in the machine, I'm gonna have trouble paying more than $50.

#4842 10 years ago
Quoted from PMcGee:

(no images in the ad, so I included one snitched from IPDB to show the playfield.)
Race time pinball machine - $100 (Se)
" target="_blank">sanantonio.craigslist.org link
In fair condition. I don't know if it works or not, but I do know its taking up room in my shop. These things can be worth some money when reconditioned. Hundred bucks and haul it away. Call or Txt me if interested 8303xxx299

race time ipdb.jpg 140 KB

I *Really* want this as I've been looking for a horse racing themed game. Tried to call and txt a couple hours ago, but no answer yet.

#4845 10 years ago
Quoted from ccotenj:

calling jeff... calling jeff...

No dammit, I already called it above!

Disclosure - Jeff clued me in ASAP this morning because he knew I'd want it and he is a good dude.

#4858 10 years ago
Quoted from jrpinball:

I hope one of you guys grabbed this game. It's a very good player. One of the best of the usually poor playing "belly bar" games Gottlieb churned out. I've played two of these and it's really a blast to play!
Another really good one is one you don't see very often at all; "Gondolier".

I really wanted it, but a call, an email, and 3 txts went unanswered.

Thanks to PMcGee and this thread, I did get the foto finish today. Thanks also the the good seller who didn't budge when some Dallas folks tried to overpay when I had already committed to puchase. Pics here: http://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/foto-finish-new-project

Pinball Machine-Target Alpha - $550 (Edgewater)
" target="_blank">annapolis.craigslist.org link
Target Alpha Pinball Machine. Classic! Hard to find!! Good condition. Not currently working but comes with manual and has worked in the past. Glass is perfectly clear and not distoring. Target alpha graphic designs are excellent. Allows for 4 player and is coin operated. Must see to believe! True collectors item! Price is FIRM.

target alpha md.jpg 29 KB

I couldn't sell mine at TPF for $575.... and it worked 100% the entire time and it was played continually. I get home and I have 3 possible sales lined up - funny how that happens.

#5185 10 years ago

We were lost without PMcGee posting machines - he must be busy with his $1100 whitewater CL find!

#5246 10 years ago
Quoted from ccotenj:

hard to beat a complete machine for a buck and a half...

A buddy in San Antonio just made a deal for this one, it sounds like a great deal.

#5257 10 years ago
Quoted from hoov:

Someone here on Pinside has to get that Abra..........who will it be?

I'm gonna pass on this one - it looks good, but always hard to tell.

vintage pinball machine - $650 (georgetown)

1977 Gotlieb Centigrade 37, limited production pinball machine. Works and in decent shape, but needs some TLC as has been sitting in my mother's garage for 20 yrs. Restored, machine is worth $1200 - $1500.

I saw the ad yesterday... just have to draw the line somewhere.

Someone tell my wife I've shown restraint, once anyway.

Williams Smart Set - Finally an EM !

#5686 9 years ago

Its a great game. I love that you really have to work it to light'em up. The design of the bonus lights is really cool as well, how it feels random but how many bonus opportunities you get depends on how many balls you've lit.

#5740 9 years ago
Quoted from hoov:

Can't imagine this would last very long.

I'm still in my pinball purchasing freeze.... but I was tempted to lift it for this!

I saw that Buccaneer. Looks nice. What do you guys think of the price though?

High for my area, and we can be high compared to Midwest and northeast. Not sure about SoCal.

Bikini is one of the top Bally bingos. Has all the bells and whistles. Looks to be in pretty good shape. This is a real bargain.

My daughter just cracked 1000 on Big Daddy. And she did it on her second ball.
There's $20 I will never see again. My high score is stuck at 998 on a three ball game.

My daughters beating me on a machine will be awesome, but they are just a bit too young too handle my awesome skills just yet . (4&7)

#6698 9 years ago

I hope you have limes and kosher salt ready for your XX!

#6844 9 years ago

Target pool is currently my "last EM to leave"; i.e. I will sell every other one before it.

Love me some ST. Got tickets to see them this fall, will be the 3rd or 4th time but the first in 20 years.

#7119 9 years ago
Quoted from o-din:

Me too. I saw them on that tour with Pantera and Exodus. It was "lovely".

BCR900819-HB.jpg 35 KB

WOW. I missed pantera live. One of my few concert misses I've regretted. This Fall's tour is Slayer/ST/Exodus. Excited about Exodus since I haven't seen them. Slayer I'm wary of since last time I saw them was the last tour for Jeff Hanneman and they had Dave Lombardo in which was awesome.

1967 Gottlieb "Sing A Long" Pinball Machine - $650 (North Dallas)
1967 "Sing A Long" pinball machine by Gottlieb. Excellent condition with only minor blemishes. This was the beginning of the very fast paced pinball machines of that era. A classic in every way with little hours and mostly used in a private residence. It was a gift when I was 5. I am now 39 and have only recently pulled it out of storage and replaced/fixed, responsibly, all lights, fuses, etc. Loads of magical fun for countless hours. This machine is amazing! Just look it up and read the testimonials and appraisals ..... Asking $650 You have to see it/play it to believe it!! I can email you more photos and may possibly deliver..... text me, Matthew

I checked in on this one a while back - the playfield looks like it was played for all those years with a rusty ball.

Me too. But I must eat first! I'm hungry!!
Seems I got a phone call from rat last night. I think. I gave him a little Williams tech help for a machine he was working on. Man was I hammered!

Rat + Williams?
Rat + Tech?
The world is turning upside down.

#7555 9 years ago

I can't stand looking at my slick chick. Its soooooo stark white and the webbing is very heavy. I may actually have the repaint repainted - otherwise I'm just going to have to sell it. Good money after bad for sure, since I overpaid for this thing in the first place as I was caught in a rush...

Now that Kings and Queens on the other hand has found a place in the house.
