I hope that's the case, I wouldn't waste my time on a project that far in disrepair and abused. At one time, I used to try to save every game, I've learned to be more selective now. Some games are just parts donars for other games with a better chance of survival. I'm in Cali too BTW.

Get used to it in this climate, a lot of non-collectors have no clue on pinball prices and that makes finding a good deal that much harder. In 10 years, the market will either be way out of control or it will adjust itself downward. In my 40+ years in the hobby, I've seen the market go up and down many times, the last time was when the vid market collapsed and the vid guys got into pinball, that was the start of the upward spiral we see now.
