Quoted from jrpinball:

I feel that I should warn everyone here about a Craigslist seller who is using lifted photos in his ad. If you want to split hairs, he doesn't name the machines he's selling, or claim that the photos are his games, so you could say he isn't actually being dishonest. However, proceed with caution here, and ask for actual photos of the games he's selling if you're dealing with him.
The "Volley" has been sold, but it's not the same one shown in the photo.
The "King of Diamonds" is actually a "Diamond Jack", and not nearly in the condition of the "KOD" pictured.
He does have a Williams "Darling" for sale, but who knows if it's the same one shown in the photos.

Huh, I was speaking with him the other day. Prices were all over the place! I asked for photos but never received any. The drive was too far for me to bother.

Thanks for the public service, it's good to be part of a group that helps out.

Quoted from jrpinball:

What games did you ask about? What was he offering? He didn't even have a "King of Diamonds", but a tired "Diamond Jack" that I hear he wanted 3K for!

Volley. Wanted $400 but pics never came through so that was red flag for me being far enough away.

The original Darling price, as I understood it, was $1,500!!!!!

Quoted from DropTarget:

When did you talk to him? Did he offer you a free jukebox if you bought two machines?

Jukebox plus Volley for 400.

Sounded like a high school kid.

Is what it is, could have been legit just new to selling.

The ad has been changed.....
No reference to the Volley or KOD. Still the same pics of Darling.
He now states that he's "selling a Pinball machines thatis still working" and to "contact me if instreaded"
and his pics are from Pinterest.

A quote from My Cousin Vinny comes to mind.

I think I'm going to offer $100 for the Darling just to see what happens. Of course, with my luck, I'll drive 90 minutes only to get mugged!

Quoted from DropTarget:

I offered him 100.00 last week. He wouldn't take it. But that was last week.
Ask him if it's still blowing fuses.

Just an update :

I sent a text today asking for pics, I got back the single backglass pic from the ad. I asked for some cab picks, that's when I got a phone call......

How much was I looking to spend?
Bad news, not working.
Also, some guy supposed to buy tomorrow.

Send me pics anyway, you know, just in case...

Ok, yeah, I'll try, basement being worked on, etc, etc.

Deal with confidence here!

Told me that fuse didn't work.
I actually did get 1 new pic of Darling, ,,,,
On a tv screen.

Now he's trying to sell me a Diamond Jack!

I got pics of that machine, also on a tv screen.

This is fun!

Maybe he's from another dimension?

I like your style.

Ok, I'm abandoning further discussion of this ad so nice EMs can come back to the forefront.

Target Alpha
Looks good, decent price

(Legs are off but are included. Just makes it easier to load into a vehicle without them on)

While true, I'm thinking it's not easier getting it off the floor

This is pretty close to me. I've noticed the price dropping a little. How is the game play itself? I was thinking of gifting it to my neighbor if the price was right, but wouldn't want to give him a dud.

Thanks fellas, yeah, $250 would be my max.

Sold my Rocket a while ago. For a flipperless, it was actually pretty neat!

I fell in love with the backglass, but ultimately decided I'd rather see someone enjoy the pin.
