Quoted from hoov:

Wrong lockdown bar for that game - should be the narrow bar with the knobs. You could find one of those. It looks as if they put new rubber rings on the playfield without cleaning the dirt - will need shopped - is about average for games from that era - most I've seen have that flipper drag. The backglass has minor flaking and a repro will set you back $295 + shipping if you choose to go that route. The cabinet doesn't look to great on either side - is any of that moisture related and did it weaken the wood at all? The front of the cabinet looks ok from what I can see.
The game is playing - that's good.
That's the bad thing about seeing a game like that - I would want to see the inside of the game and the head to make sure there's no wiring hacks and even if you bring a drill with you to drill the locks out you would have to have his permission.
Just sit back and see if he takes your lower bid.

My KOD could use that lockdown bar

Unknown amounts of valuable info and such has been revealed in this thread. Friends have been made, and pin deals have been scored. I had no idea what I had started here a little over a year ago, but it sure has been grand! I'm just happy that I am still a part of it.

I've never owned a lot of pinball machines at the same time. In the last 15 years or so, maybe 1 or 2 at a time and often none. The prices of most newer games was always prohibitive to me (4K-10K) As Kurt Russell said in Used Cars, "that's too fkn high". This thread got me to thinking about the older pins. I met some local pinsiders and played some of their EM's. I asked questions on pinside and got great info about EM's. It's led to 4 purchases of 4 great games for under $3500! Thanks to all on this great website, and a special thanks to a few, who shared their passion with me for these gems.
