Quoted from hoov:

I just saw a Big Daddy for sale somewhere - I wonder if you got the one I saw.

Hey, I just noticed in the Mr. Pinball Classifeds price guide they made a pinball machine called Odin..........

Different Big Daddy and different odin. My odin came from Fireball. I bet even a true Gottlieb man has got to love that backglass.

#2002 7 years ago
Quoted from hoov:

The artwork is what makes this game worth more than some of other games of this era because it doesn't have backglass animation.

Agreed the artwork is so cool. I always thought it was Stenholm's masterpiece. Now I understand it may not have been Stenholm at all.

#2003 7 years ago

Odin's Big Daddy is super nice. A game you don't see too often and this one is an amazingly clean example.

#2004 7 years ago

Don't worry Hoov, It looks to be followed up with another wedgie, but that may be a few months off.

Way to go o-din On Williams big Daddy.

There was a real nice one in Utah that I wanted at a nice price as well but i was broke at the time. Looks to be a very fun game and love the artwork as well.

That is what I'm thinking. Who needs pictures on the wall when you've got artwork like that! I have a special place for it in the den all picked out.

Congrats on the Big Daddy. When do we get to see the Big Daddy playfield? The backglass is nice.........

OK, I'll bite. What's the next wedgie or is this a group surprise/secret?

It seems Pin-it has a different idea for your next wedgie........

#2013 7 years ago

OK hoov, I really don't want to get ahead of myself because the next one is not a sure thing and Big Daddy is not here yet, but I do have a pic.

Trade winds looks pretty cool, it has a more "humble" backglass.

That one would be a nice title to have as well.

It would fit in perfectly in one of those restaurants or bars down by the boat docks.

Interesting but I personally don't care for the weird Suicide Flippers. I would much rather have a Slick Chick.

Yeah. Me, myself and I. And when my daughter comes up, she will walk right by it and not even notice. But she ought to, it's her inheritance.

Designed by a 12 year old girl with ADD. Wow! what an eye full that thing is. Looks fun!

A couple weeks ago we had some people over and I finally utilized my old Sun Drop machine. People had bottles of soda in their hands when my 13 year old arrived home from a friends house. She looks around and asks me where the soda is. I said in the pop machine. She says we have a pop machine? So I had to take her down to the game room to show her the machine that had been there for more than 5 years. I thought this was funny and the next day I asked her to name two of my pinball machines. She says hmm, Klondike and uh..... I remember Rocky & Bullwinkle. I don't own either of those anymore.

Quoted from AlexF:

I figured she might have said "I don't want a new pop, you'll do, just a soda please."

#2028 7 years ago

Ha, "pop" is sort of a regional term isn't it?

Regional, like before their time.

#2030 7 years ago

Jealous of your Big D Odin, Trade Winds always looked pretty cool too.....I need a new pin!!

#2031 7 years ago

Ever play a Tradewinds? Tough game... But fun...

#2032 7 years ago

What do you guys think this game is worth? I've asked for additional pictures (plus, back of bg, pf w/ glass off, sides of game, under pf) as these are pretty bad. I'm pretty positive the pf and bg are going to have a little wear/flaking respectively due to the condition of the cab so I'm interested in high/low offer. I think the seller is quite off in his price, but may be looking for a best offer and has no idea how to price it. Thanks.

Quoted from singlebanana:

Without better pictures $500.00 Tops seeing it needs a full Shopout as well.

Ken

#2034 7 years ago

Yeah, I was thinking in the $300-$400 range pending pics, a few hundred more if the pf and bg are nice. I'll also probably need it transported, but that's not his problem and I don't want that to affect the offer too much.

I know that ice been working and ,missed for a couple weeks, but I am shocked there is nothing from Chris. I'll give him a shout tomorrow.

Hope everything is okay.

Local deal of the day for me...........oh boy!
Looks like the seller is trying to strike it rich in Boise from a sap.
boise.craigslist.org link
I wrote and told them I bought my Klondike for $450 in Boise 6 months ago so they should re-think their selling price...........no response from the seller to me of course.
Ken

Please don't take offence, but this has happened to me before...I REALLY don't care what you got yours for, or what you saw it sell for, its my price and my list....I managed to sell both those in about a week, even after ppl like you bothered to waste their time to tell me how high I was....

It looks to be a payout horse race pinball game. I'm wondering if the "bowl scoring" is like a roulette wheel where you shoot a pinball into the bowl and it lands in a spot designated by a certain horse - anyone else got it figured out yet.

#2045 7 years ago

It's pretty darn old, that much I know.
