Haha...not quite moving to Beverly Hills, but...it would have been nice to strike oil or win the lottery first!

Quoted from pinwiztom:My favorite AAB
I've read that in several reviews, best liked AAB. I'm looking forward to playing it as soon as we get settled to see for myself.
Quoted from JethroP:This came up yesterday and I snagged it! Only 500 produced![quoted image][quoted image]
Can definitely tell it’s Gordon Morison artwork. The backglass reminds me of Dimension which came out the same year. Also only 500 produced

Nice looking Paul Bunyan. A title with one of the coolest EM backglass.
And it's a sample game.

Is that your game for sale, Brian?

It was. It now belongs to a friend that did the cabinet repaint. I can attest the playfield is super nice, and the insides are real nice and shiny. I am still considering getting it back, but I'm full up right now.

That "Buccaneer" looks really nice.
Agreed. I would be curious to see what it goes for. Hopefully someone on here can scoop it.
CA auction. A ton of coin op games and a dozen or so pins. Both EM and SS

I'd possibly be interested in a trade for it for the Palooka I got from you except I've never played it. A game that I have played and really enjoyed was the Williams Apollo if anyone close enough has one to trade for my Palooka.

Sorry about that. It’s been a long day.
Certainly hard to read the back posts on this thread, we need more screen captures to retain the CL add. wont help in the buying but at least we'll see the original add.

This Palooka is sold and I feel it will be well taken care of as a game like it should be.

This is an interesting find. 1930’s early table game. Looks like it would be a fun time.

Yeah, I get a little bored searching CL for pinballs lately since it seems we fished them all out. It's just the same few that nobody wants month after month.
So occasionally I do a slightly different search of other mechanical items from the same era.

I like that Ranchero and the price is not too steep,
I would be tempted, but just bought another house
and do not really need another car or toy.
Quoted from pinwiztom:I like that Ranchero and the price is not too steep
Funny, I thought it was pretty cool, but Nimblepin said it belongs in the clown puke thread.
I had a 1962 Ranchero for a while, all white in color.
Quoted from poppapin:Heh heh, my 1st car was a 65 Ford Falcon convertible I got in 70. I thought that was the shit!!
At first I was a fan of the 64-65 model, it's still pretty cool, but then I found you can't beat the sexy curves on the earlier model.

3 great cars. I’d go for the Willy’s, owned a ‘66 Kaiser when I lived in Colorado. International comes in 2nd.
I actually had all three of those listed, but no Boss 302. A boss of mine had the rare 1969 one with a shaker hood.
I had a love affair with AMC and Kaiser for a while, sporting a 1968 Javelin and more of those J-Series Gladiator trucks and Wagoneers than I can put an exact number on. Maybe 8 or 9 of them. And a CJ-7 with a 401 and a T-18 tranny with granny. That was my hobby before buying pinball machines.
I had a buddy in the 80s that did both and he had a room full of EMS and collected classic Power Wagons and Woody wagons.
To get this thread back on topic, here is that $500 Williams Satellite posted in the woodrail thread.
Anybody own this machine or played it and have an opinion?
Owner doesn’t want to accept less than the asking price.

I had one, it was fairly fun but not a fan of bowling themes and almost all of them use roll over buttons which I'm cool too as well. The backglass animation is a nice touch too.

My buddy has a real nice one in his collection of EM's with low plays on it. He put about 80 hours of work into it and has it playing like factory new. I played the game at his home a while ago and still remember how much I enjoyed the game play. I must have played 20 games in a row and finally beat real good.
I like the back glass animation where the ball gets kicked out. A steeper pitched game seems to play fast and furious and works well with the open type playfield design too.
If the game truly works 100% and has been shopped out to the point where the game plays well, than $450 might be a decent price.
I don't like the wear on the playfield though and might think $350 or $400 would seem more fair. Not sure from the pictures what shape the cabinet and back glass is in either. Haven't seen that many Lucky Strikes for sale around lately.

Thanks for the input Vic. Good to know it’s fun to play. I did see the playfield wear but fortunately one of the few things I’m pretty good at doing on Ems is repaints and touch ups. It is time consuming though. I’m definitely a novice on the electrical and mechanical side so hopefully it doesn’t have any major issues with gameplay.
Given the choice between Lucky Strike, King Pin, and Skill Pool, which are all similar in a way, I go with Skill Pool.

What about the add-a-ball, "Bowl A Strike"?
Quoted from jrpinball:What about the add-a-ball, "Bowl-a-Strike"?
Never played one, but I'm not a big add a ball guy even though I've had a few. I like it when the goal is replays.
