thanks mate! how’s life on the west coast?

Jim Dandy! As usual.

But please do us all a favor and don't run out in front of any moving buses, would ya?

Hey Chris - welcome back.

Ouch - makes me think of the song on Hee Haw.

#17054 72 days ago
Quoted from ccotenj:

yes, that was the last time i checked in. i had gotten hit by a bicyclist while i was walking.
yeah, it hasn’t been a good last few years or so. i’ve had too many broken bones to count. this last one easily topped them all, i didn’t come home for 2 months.
yup, i do! i have not done any work in ages though. 3 of them work. i am starting to consider moving some though and going back to just 2.

Dude, welcome back! I was just thinking about you the other day wondering where you went!

#17055 72 days ago

Chris -
Three years ago you sent me the backglass for my Royal Guard project.. FINALLY got it working a few months back & am prepping the cabinet for paint..

Welcome back Chris!
I've often wondered where you and "fflint" went. Still got games? Had a great time at Pinfest this past weekend.
Man, you have more pins and screws in you than Evel Knievel! Watch yourself!

Better be ready to pull out some cash for "some nice looking EM Classics" in my area. The Deals are gone, kinda sad.

#17061 69 days ago

Thought I might be able to get a deal on a Playmatic Speakeasy on local Craigslist. Seemed like a CL auction situation so I bailed.

$4570 really?

#17065 68 days ago

they have it on mr pinball too. they must be new to this hobby?

#17066 68 days ago

Because $4575 is just too damn much!

#17067 66 days ago

There was a beautiful Domino at the Pintastic auction last year. It won best in show and then didn't meet the reserve of $650! I would have bought it, but I had no room in the vehicle by that point.

That one belonged to 1stPinballDave

Actually, it did not belong to Dave. He did bring it to the show, but it belonged to his friend who wanted Dave to sell it for him. He did eventually sell it, at the following York show I believe. No doubt it was a very nice game for the price.

I got a free "Dealer's Choice" once. Same deal, "come and pick it up"!
Midtown Manhattan second floor walk-up with a super narrow curved stairway. Got it done, but not much fun. It was like 95 degrees that day too.

Sonic Prospector $175. Needs a bit of wood repair to the head, but the cabinet otherwise appears solid.

Don't forget about the other two! O-din would be in love over that Pit Stop, me too

#17081 39 days ago

I saw the Pit Stop and thought it has a crack on the backglass, but it could just be the photo. If it doesn't, that is another great buy.

Yes...very rare - game is located in Florida - it took me WAY too long to find that out due to workplace stupidity on our web filters...so adding to Tom's post in case others can't see pinballowners at current locations...

Too far for me...

Too much for that title. My wife's brother-in-law owns a nice one. We were there for the fourth.
My mother-in-law was in the basement and I said, "look, they have a pingame".
She asked, "is that a good one?"
I replied, "No. It's what we refer to as a dog!"

#17088 13 days ago

Some of us actually like RoGo. But true, it's no Top Ten.

It certainly NOT priced to sell!

#17089 13 days ago

Yes it's priced high. I remember one that was mint many months ago on CL that went for $350.00. I also just saw one on CL for I think $1200.00.

Now that's just crazy talk.

#17094 7 days ago
Quoted from SirScott:

Now that's just crazy talk

One of my buddies grew up with a RoGo in his house and had nothing else really to compare it to, so they enjoyed the heck out of it.

Another buddy had a King Kool in his house and again, nothing else to compare it to, so he lived with that one too.

Would I buy either of these or want to play them again? No. But I would give RoGo the edge in fun factor.

To some people, having a pinball machine no matter what the title, is better than having no pinball machine at all.

#17095 7 days ago

No EMS in this sale, but a fine assortment of pack rat junk just the same.

GLOVES SUGGESTED!

I have a buddy looking for a machine right now saying exactly that to me. Currently fixing up my Pat Hand to sell to him.

#17097 6 days ago

Having a pinball machine that WORKS is better than having pinball machines that aren't working.

Speak of the devil!

If you want a Ro Go for whatever reason and it has to be in great condition, this might be the one for you!

I think they forgot the . between the 7 and the 0 should be $27.00.

I repeat I saw a mint one sell just last year for $350.00 and it took awhile at that.

But was the one that sold for $350 from a well known artist in LA and was played by people like Warren Beatty? That's got to be worth at least $2350 more. Right?
