Not to offend anyone, but a friend of mine bought some of those and they weren't quite as nice as one might think. Buyer beware.
Hmmm. Sent an email about a hit the deck I saw in one of the pictures

Quoted from o-din:Perhaps not the nicest looking EM classic, but for $175, what the heck!

Sun faded Surf Champ. For the money a decent players game with potential for more.
Genco's South Pacific in Salem OR
salem.craigslist.org link
unfortunately game does not look as good in person as it does thru photos.
CAB is in very good shape, but it is
missing lockdown bar and back door missing key to coin door.
Slight paint flake on BG, I would rate it about 6.5/10
But what most turned me off was that it appears the PF had some water damage,
since some of the PF was starting to de-laminate.
Too much of a project, so i walked away,
but if you needed parts you might be able to offer $100 and owner likely would take it.

Wow, what a beautiful game and such a unique feature with the 10 kick out holes lighting up.
Is the PF repairable? Do you have photos of the damage? Are schematics available for this game?

Yeah, I emailed him too. Would be easy to get a lot of $$$ into this.
Well, that & my wife would kill me if I brought another one home....
Someone from the Woodrail FB group went to see it and this is what he says:
"I've also taken a look at this and passed. Lots of rat poop and some wires chewed. Delamination of playfield and those kick out insert rings aren't anywhere close to flush. Plastics out of shape but there mostly. Agreed that cabinet is really nice including the legs. It powered on as well."
Quoted from PinballFever:Delamination of playfield and those kick out insert rings aren't anywhere close to flush.
The delamination and areas of swelling on the PF killed it
Would need major work to get back to playable.
I saw the rat poop also, did not bother to look inside the wiring.
But if you had a Genco woodrail from same era, it might be good as parts backup.
Quoted from AlexF:Awe man. I miss my Kickoff. That game gave me a lot of joy for years.
Touch Down is just as good too.

Man. Just shows you how pictures can be deceiving. That game looks excellent in the photos. I would've been all over it if it was on this side of the country.
Still should be worth $100 as you said.

Poof there goes... at 300
It went quick
I personally gave this EM my tear down/clean/reassemble treatment in 2008. They called me back once cause a flipper quit working, and another time because the ball went missing(I wish I could remember what that ended up being...sorry!), but otherwise it still plays fine and is in very good original condition. The seller is moving to Florida, and is downsizing.

Yeah, but one of them seems to have no lockdown bar, and a hokey wooden front door and whatever for a coin entry plate. You get what you pay for.

Why does she refer to it as "Wild Wild West" (the replay version), when it's clearly a "Lariat".
She either did some research, or maybe is somehow connected to Gottlieb. Maybe worked there herself, or has a relative who did back in the day.

Original Post:
"1969 Gottlieb's "Wild Wild West" Super cute two player pinball machine western themed pinball machine from Gottlieb. Maintained and fully functional Posts, Rubber, Lamps. Original - Flippers, Pop bumpers, Shooter, Coin entries, Coin door, Side rails, Legs, Locks and Hardware.
Wild Wild West is ready for a long happy life in your game room. Authentic and original cabinet paint and chrome, this is a sharp, clean vintage pinball machine. The stainless steel side rails and legs add a bit of industrial feel.
Excellent cosmetic condition for a 45 year old pinball machine. Wild Wild West along with other great Gottlieb western pinball machines blended pinball with the wild west. Only 150 were made so there can't be more than a handful left in the world in this very nice condition.
These All American made in Chicago vintage pinball machines are quality. The finest craftsmanship and materials were used in making these classic pinball machines. I have the original wiring diagrams too! and a few spare lights and rings.
This game has all the bells (no whistles!) Sounds like the classic old arcade and lots of fun for kids and adults. When I got this from my parents they had built a small wood step for me to use so I could see over the top - well that was a long time ago. This has been in my family for over 40 years.
Fun game play on one of Gottlieb's cutest pinball machines:
Varitargets harder you hit them the higher the score value
Varitargets to the top lights the "Wow" to win extra balls
Two kickout holes score the targets value
Replays for high scores and end of game match
Win free games and the population of Dry Gulch goes up ("Rabbits!" see pictures below)
Things you might remember from 1969 the year Wild Wild West was made. Neil Armstrong walked on the moon, Woodstock draws 350,000 music fans, Richard Nixon is elected president and Walmart is incorporated. Don't wait another 40 years to
own a classic pinball machine they may all be gone.
One of the few investments you can play and enjoy every day if you always wanted a vintage pinball machine this Wild Wild West may be what you have been waiting for. "

Only seen and played Lariat once before
that was at Expo in late 90s, I think it was Tom Taylor's
and it was for sale, though I think it was already sold
by the time I got to it.

more like shovels!
Great to see that orange tabby staring again. Cheers.
good to see the crew is still around.
Quoted from AlexF:Holy smokes. How are you Chris?
these days, getting pretty good, thanks. for awhile, i was REALLY busy with other things, which is why i wasn’t here for quite some time. long story best left untold.
then last september, i fell off my kitchen peninsula and shattered my femur at the hip. they had to put me back together with rod/bolt/screws. that put me out of commission for several months. i started being able to walk without a cane/crutch about a month ago. helpful hint: don’t do this to yourself. i also broke my right elbow at the same time, but that was no biggie, that was a “normal” bone healing.
sooo... i’ve been occupied, but i still think about you guys.
Quoted from o-din:It's gotten so I can't tell one cat from another around here.
Welcome back, son!
thanks mate! how’s life on the west coast?

Quoted from AlexF:Didn't you get hit by bicyclist or something? Geez man sounds like some painful and unfortunate events. Glad to see you back. Still have your games?
yes, that was the last time i checked in. i had gotten hit by a bicyclist while i was walking.
yeah, it hasn’t been a good last few years or so. i’ve had too many broken bones to count. this last one easily topped them all, i didn’t come home for 2 months.
yup, i do! i have not done any work in ages though. 3 of them work. i am starting to consider moving some though and going back to just 2.
