Manufacturer: Gottlieb

Production: 2,525
Cost: $400
Location: Gilbert (Phoenix), AZ

Condition: "In excellent condition considering the age and that it is purely mechanical without any computer chips. Also lightly used. After getting the Pinbot I spent more time on that one than Duotron, but I fire it up periodically just to keep the mechanical switches from having any issues."
Quoted from CoitusMysterioso:EM's have MPUs. Its just the giant board on the bottom that uses relays and solenoids instead or transistors. A switch is a switch! LOL
OK. Solid state MPUs then.

It's like you go to look at a machine for sale and when you get there to check it out you realize the seller must have posted some pics from online because you got a big suprise when you lifted up the playfield.
OK, here is the one you want to buy. Prototype only per Pinside database.

"Valencia" and "Toledo" are probably the only two pinball machines ever made that have flipper buttons on the playfield.

I thought there was a Gottlieb that had buttons on the field too.

I think it came from France, as did the seller

1375$ ? Kids say “No to drugs” - Nancy Reagen
Maybe he needs cash for dry-wall.
1974DeltaQueen Why the say no to drugs reference on that post? That game looks like it's in great shape. Most of the EMs coming up on CL are beat to hell. Not everyone wants a beatup cabinet and PF for $700. Just don't understand your logic someone is asking $9500 for an Indiana Jones. That's something crazy. A ton of Games on eBay are posted at way over average and still sell. I've paid what some would think is above average for something I wanted, value is different to each person. If your not interested in flipping it for a profit and genuinely like the game, why wouldn't you pay for one in great shape?

I’ve had the game, gameplay isn’t horrible but it’s just a tad over Magnotron. , to me it’s boring. Condition doesn’t always dictate price, they also made over 9100 of them. For me finding one not worn out or HUO isn’t that difficult. If I offended you and it’s your pin or a friends then take it with a grain of salt. One mans treasure is another mans Pyrite.

This is pretty close to me. I've noticed the price dropping a little. How is the game play itself? I was thinking of gifting it to my neighbor if the price was right, but wouldn't want to give him a dud.
Quoted from RonSS:How is the game play itself?
I have a Gulfstream (replay version although you can set it to play like an add-a-ball). It's a fun game, not an all-time great but it has its strengths:
- Very fast for an EM
- Multiple ways to score extra balls
- The 'Four Corners' strategy (vs going for the traditional 3 in a row) adds some risk-reward and fun. Very cool to earn 3 extra balls (adjustable) for making the 4-corners.
The game looks pretty dirty but as long as the play field is OK and you don't mind cleaning it up, could be a good buy. I have my Gulfstream in the youth room at my Church and it's a big hit.

It's a good game, and the harder to find "non-replay" version.
This one looks pretty whooped though.
Maybe worth $250.

That looks right up O-Din's alley and in that neck of the woods. I wonder if it's a decent player.
Looks nice, kind of a high production number for the year. Most games do not come even close to 5,000 items.

I think he has one. Or had one. Wish he'd list his collection again. Was always interesting to see.
It was mine! I spent so much time trying to repaint the playfield, that I just hit a wall and didn't want to do any more work to it. So I sold it to a buddy who put it back together and is now selling it.
Playfield didn't turn out too bad after all.
Quoted from MikeO:I wonder if it's a decent player.
Yeah, it's a great playing game. One of a handful of multiplayers with an on playfield special. Cool art too.

I wonder if the 1962 Silver Sails "Magic Screen" bingo pinball machine with the payout coin hopper built into the "Golden Gate" lower cabinet is for sale too.
Didn’t this ad appear a few months back? I chatted with a pinsider who said he had cash and the seller never returned his call or Email
Yep, I inquired the first time the ad came out on Craigs List, never heard back. The they opened an account here on Pinside and placed one machine up for sale. I inquired and no response. I then replied to the new Craig's List ad after it was posted 10 minutes old and no surprise here. No response. Every time I inquired all I wrote was please send a list of titles and your price for all. I have the funds and means of transporting all. Funny thing is the locals and my self know who the person is. He was been MIA for two decades.

This seems like a nice Bally Flip Flop for $550 in Louisville, KY. Wish I had the money right now. Hopefully someone here can get this one.

I tried to buy a flip flop a few years ago. I called the seller up and gave him his asking price. He agreed to sell. The very next day he called me back and informed me that he had reconsidered and decided not to sell. I questioned the seller and asked “Isn’t that a flip flop?”. His reply was “yes... but you already knew that.”
