Yeah well, we didn't want the price to go up too fast.

DANG! That's a keeper for sure....with that price!
Quoted from jodini:DANG! That's a keeper for sure....with that price!
Every time Mini Golf comes up for sale someone gets freaked out. It's just one of those games that sells for crazy money. Don't think of it as an EM pinball. It's more along the lines of Flying Turns, Genco Basketball, Williams Ten Strike or a better Pitch and Bat.
That is a nice price on that 4 Bagger but if your used to buying $300-$500 pinballs it probably seems insane.
Quoted from o-din:For Alex, that Mini Golf is at an easy price.
Out of my budget too. There was a time however when I considered one that wasn't quite as nice for almost as much.

Boilerman is right. Thanks to you, mine doesn't look like that. That looks like a deal breaker for me.

I would not pay over $1000.00 for this pitch n bat.....
I get so ticked when one of these pops up on my search....
And I used that webbing out of can once.....never again! Stuff is like tar!

Ha, yeah. Those things drive me nuts too. It seems every time you find an ad these days for game under $300 it's usually one of those, a pachinko or Star Explorer/Demolition Derby home model.
And usually any ad that says "antique gumball machine" usually turns out to be one of those Carousel 1980s/1990s novelty home models.

yuk webbing in a can....just leave it off if you cant do the webbing the right way. IMO

I'd really prefer a more than nicked up original to one of those repaints.

Any guides to doing it the right way? I have to redo my Drop-A-Card
The cabinet is really bad, to the point were leaving it is not an option
Generally the easiest method is to buy the Krylon webbing, spray it in a HVLP gun cup, mix with some lacquer thinner, and shoot it.
A little trial and error will get the ratio and spraying technique right.
Not sure if this link will work. Bank-A-Ball for sale and wanted to get opinions of the value in general. Owner says it was cleaned up four years ago when he bought it. You can see that the cabinet around the glass has those billiard balls glued (I confirmed this). Not sure why someone would choose to do that, but whatever floats your boat. Owner says all drop down billiard balls are present. Not sure how difficult switching back to the 2" flippers would be, but shouldn't be too hard. Owner sent me some better photos and the glass looks decent. Crazing around the people on right side. Some flaking at top. Play field looks pretty nice. I don't see too many of these pop up around me. Are they common enough that the price should be reasonable?

He must have been testing that Spirit of '76 (or hopefully, and it's not an issue), unless he has two friends that are REALLY bad at pinball...

Looks pretty cool with the billiard balls glued around the head!
I don't know how 'nice' this is - there is some wear on the playfield and cabinet:

Actually yes.....What I've done on a few games is buy the Krylon Webbing. Also buy one of those Harbor freight spay guns with the air control on it. Spray some of the webbing in the top of the gun mixed with some Lacquer thinner. The lower the air pressure the better it will come out, but just play with it until you get it just right. Hope this helps.
Anybody near this Happy Tour that would be coming to Allentown or Pinburgh in the spring/summer and willing to help it get to me in Maryland? It's an 11hr drive for me each way and my truck has over 200k on it already and it's winter. I don't think I can afford to spend $500 shipping but would certainly contribute to gas! If not I suppose I can wait for one closer to pop up. NicoVolta

thanks,

Saw that one... seems like most Ballys from the mid-60's were treated pretty rough, if they survived at all. Which is a shame because a good number of them are really fun. The Grand Tour I bought two years ago has been the project from hell... shipping damage, internal fires (not disclosed by seller), missing door, pitted rails, poorly touched-up backglass... BUT I'M GONNA SAVE IT BE DAMNED because the artwork is gorgeous and the unique geometry has terrific fast flow. Similar to but I'd say even prettier and more fun than Rocket III, which says a lot.
(haven't played the Happy Tour add-a-ball version though... might be awesome because it's a pretty hard game as-is!)
Would love to attend ReplayFX again. My visit in 2015 was awesome. Fantastic venue, terrific nearby attractions, and huge selection of games... just great. I think I'll give it a go again in 2017.

It was a pretty decent Big Daddy. Definitely had potential. Someone is happy I'm sure.
Mine's still sitting in the same spot. Hasn't moved. I guess after this long it is just part of the furniture.
