'61 Williams Double Barrel $450

losangeles.craigslist.org link

Only 700 made.......so who's drooling?

#15654 7 years ago
Quoted from Shiny_balls:

so who's drooling?

The usual suspect.

#15655 7 years ago

I had one and found a beautiful export backglass for it. I miss that game. It was a looker. I know chances of finding another great glass are very slim so I guess the chances of revisiting Double Barrel are unlikely.

#15656 7 years ago

When I saw it come up on Mr. Pinball last week I did get a little enthused because it is close by. But he mentioned the backglass needed work and no, it probably won't be easy to find a nice one. I've got nowhere to put it anyway, so I will just be happy with all the other's from this era I already have.

I went and checked it out. Painted cabinet. Bad BG. And the worse part it's up two flights of stairs!!

#15658 7 years ago

Yes they are.

I like to have a variety of features on the different games I own.

I've got 60s games with drop targets, swinging targets, and those lower cannon kickers. And at least one where the cannons shoot in the vacinity of the drop targets. But I do not have one where the cannon shoots at the swinging target.

Sounds like you just talked yourself into it.

At one time not long ago I might have. But my plate is full at the moment.

Oklahoma is one of the "state" pinball machines.

There's also:

Wisconsin
New York

Any other's?

#15675 7 years ago

Arizona, Hawaii, Idaho, Carolina, Nevada, Utah - I'm sure there's more! These are all United, as they seemed to latch on to the 'state' theme.

Williams Virginia, Maryland, Tennessee.

There may be others, too. A Virginia came up recently - probably should have grabbed it since that's my state.

"Needs replacement rubber band" WITH THAT PRICE??????? /sarcasm

I love how specific they are, while some people call the most beaten, awful examples of a machine "nearly perfect".

#15683 7 years ago
Quoted from Otaku:

"Needs replacement rubber band"

That's all this needs, but not for sale.

Look familiar o-din?

Better yet when people do these descriptions.

newjersey.craigslist.org link

This machine does work and you can play it, all the lights and sounds work, the game needs to be reset manually, it just needs a relay switch replaced. The graphics are perfect and so is the glass.
This machine would sell for over $2000 if the relay switch was replaced, I just don't have the time for it.
$750.00 or best offer!
