Looks to be in really nice condition.

Star Pool is fun to play, but it is really easy to max out the bonus and get the extra ball and there is not much to do after that. But it is a snappy game.

#15004 3 years ago
Quoted from MrArt2u:

Is that why there are so many whitewashed cabinets out there? Because Tom Sawyer convinced everyone that it was soooo much fun to whitewash a pinball machine cabinet??

It is.

But luckily, Huck Finn is a purist and a big advocate of Goof Off and is convincing everyone to go back to original.

Sure glad that paint Tom used, was latex based.

...aaaaand another Spanish Eyes in Phoenix. For $75... "OBO"?!?!

#15007 3 years ago

I'm guessing that isn't the pic of their actual machine. But hey for $75. Worst case scenario it's still worth that in parts.

Of the two images posted, both have different coin doors.

Well Howdy Neighbor!

Means you can finally swing by, drink a few IPA's, and play some pinball. I'll have Classy Bowler together in a week or two.

And it looks like it is missing the playfield glass and playfield in one pic. I tried to contact the seller without any luck. Too many red flags though to stay interested in it.

I don't think you have to worry. It appears someone may have grabbed it. Unless it's just an odd coincidence.

Never mind it looks like he has had his since high school.

"I ain't got time for 'dat!"

Jeff, you need to get busy on that Humpty Dumpty project, aye? :p

#15019 3 years ago

Contacted seller on Spanish Eyes for $75 in Phoenix. It was legit, but the seller has since discovered the machine is actually working and has no idea how to re-price it. I sent him some data, so I'd expect that ad to get pulled and relisted higher than $75. I had my fingers crossed on that one, but I had to be a nice guy and tell him that if it's working, it's worth a bit more than $75.

I won't get into a bidding war with you. You're closer than I am, so make him an offer. There is 'working' and then there is 'Working!' As long as the playfield looks good, it would be a good pick-up since the cabinet and backglass appear to be in good shape in the pic.

Of course if you don't want it...

If the backglass isn't flaking on the bottom ( like many do) and not thrashed elsewhere, it's a $400 plus game. One of the better Williams single players (and some of us appreciate the unique artwork). If you can get it for $250, it's a great deal (IMO)

#15023 3 years ago

It's also the fastest middle-pop game of them all. The ball rockets and ricochets all over the playfield... watch those flipper drains!

Our Waterloo, IA seller is back with his 6 games - this time with no pics

That thing looks in a-m-a-z-i-n-g shape!

IF... that is original cabinet paint, that is.

#15029 3 years ago

If I was to get a pitch and bat I think the home run ramp would be a must.

#15030 3 years ago

Definitely.... also a two-player.

Wow, that's a nice P&B for the money.

I think Score Reels and 2 player aspect is also a "must factor".

Williams Mini Golf posted again for sale in WA: seattle.craigslist.org link

What were they asking for this game? Clearly it has been deleted already but I was just wondering.

They were asking $5000 for the Mini Golf.

#15036 3 years ago

Ack! Surprised he pulled it. I cannot imagine someone pulled the trigger on it at that price.

#15037 3 years ago

A High Hand is in the South Jersey Craigslist. For 900 . 3 pics of playfield all fuzzy. On info on game. I would look into it if he came down to like 700 and the backglass wasn't bad . it's to close to Pinfest now

Williams "Caberet" pinball playfield 30 bucks!!

I appreciate that! I did make him a very low offer. I'm really not trying to low-ball him, it was just the most *I* would pay for the game and I couldn't tell if he was just trying to unload the machine or if he could sit on it and wait around for the big bucks. No response.

I know this is an EM thread, but I'm wondering what happened to the early SS "Mystic" for $120 that was listed in Tucson... you know anything about that?

I offered $200 just from the pics and his brief description of it being a "working" game - haven't even seen the machine, doesn't matter, I wouldn't pay more than $200 for it anyway because I only want it $200's-worth.

I am a little annoyed that he hasn't pulled the ad yet. From my conversation with the seller, he seemed to have no intention of selling it for $75 any longer. And, I sent him links to some pricing info (boston's, pb priceguide, pinside, and mr. pinball). So... what's the hold up on the Spanish Eyes in Phoenix relist??

Ready made contact with the seller. Hoping to get but the weekend

#15042 3 years ago

Hey Kansas City! Might be worth checking out if they'll do a package deal...I counted 4 ems and a pretty nice looking pitch n bat. I'm too busy this weekend, so I'm out!
kansascity.craigslist.org link

The only non promising thing I see is one price tag on the woodrail for $600.00.....looks like they have been watching "Garage Wars" or some fantasy auctioning show...so good luck!

CCoin Gin and CCoin Hollywood
WMS P&B Base Hit
GTB Humpty Dumpty
not sure what the other wood rail is ( with longhorn steer CAB)

I have a question about Craigslist searches for Pinball machines .
Do I have to search City by City within each state, which I have been doing( very long process) ?
Or, is there a faster way to look for particular Pins ?

One way is to set up an RSS feed for the search in each city. I personally have shortcuts pasted on the top bar for all my favorite searches and or cities. One click for each search. They key is to also try and filter out the junk. We have a prolific commercial vendor constantly posting in the LA area, so I just filter out keywords that they always use.
