Quoted from Spider3582:TNT has a Monaco on Craigslist for 350 can you get parts for it I think it's Italian
Made in Spain. Very fast and fun game.
But can you get parts . Are they interchangeable with another brand. It looks like a good fun game and 350 isn't bad but if you can't get parts it's not worth it
Quoted from Dono:Kinda cool Bally... always liked this game...
Actually it is a Williams, but I always thought it was neat too.
I bought four games today including these two. That may be a record for me.
Quoted from o-din:I bought four games today
Congrats on the Heat Wave and the other games!
I know its been on your radar for quite some time now.
Mine arrives Wednesday.
Ken
Ken, thanks for spotting that Fiesta and friends on E-bay. I called capt kid and we came to a quick agreement. My Frontiersman and your Classy Bowler came from the same gent among others. His pics aren't always great, but he's an easy guy to deal with.

No problem buddy. I think once you get your Heat Wave set up it will be like your Big Daddy, not going anywhere for a long time. The other good news with the Backglass is that if you want a new one bgresto.com has them already. I might get one in the near future.
Going to order parts for classy Bowler Wednesday from PBR. I have pretty much done everything I can so far without parts.

There is a good possibility a true screened repro backglass may become available for Heat Wave in the not too distant future.. but you didn't hear it from me,
Another congrats on the Heat Wave!
Classic 60's Williams magic.
Might have to break mine down (hate to do it) to make room... but I still have a few more titles up my sleeve that need to be shopped out and haven't ever been up yet, so that takes some of the 'sting' out of it.
Quoted from pinwiztom:Heat Wave, as i have stated before elsewhere,
is my new favorite WMS EM from that era.
Had a great time playing it with you over here too.
Quoted from o-din:At least unlike Eager Beaver it looks like there are enough Heat Waves to go around.
Yeah, some of the really early sixties Williams that have significantly lower production numbers.... seem to be at least a 'little' more plentiful. That doesn't make a whole lot of sense. But I don't believe I have even seen one at the shows now that I think about it. Although that doesn't mean there's still not some out there entrenched in collections or still yet to come to light as unwanted items in people's garages or basements... collecting dust.
A few years ago, I excitedly drive out to a friend's grandfather's house to pick up a Heat Wave that had been with the family since the 60s. When we got there and cleared the boxes that were stacked on it we found out it was a Teacher's Pet. He forgot he sold the Heat Wave years ago. I wasn't too upset, Teacher's Pet is a great game but I really wanted that Heat Wave!! Maybe if Odin decides he wants to sell his someday...

Yes, well... those are 'both' titles that I wouldn't let leave my custodianship.

3rd world problems.

Every single EM I've ever owned (buying it knowing it was complete) never crucially needed parts besides universal things like leg brackets, rubbers, etc. (which won't be a problem to find of course). They are usually not "replace parts" machines they are "adjust/clean parts" machines (SS games usually are opposite, at least in parts where they differ from EM games), and I would guess it's complete. Anything that needs replaced would likely be interchangeable from something else and these games almost look like Williams games so I wonder if they just used Williams parts.
I'd buy it, but I have no money and no space anymore for things that just have some "cool factor". Going to stop jumping on random things, learn to say no, and start saving up (getting a good job soon) for some really nice stuff that I want to seek out rather than games always seeking me out. Getting deals has it's benefits though, never paid over $500 for any individual game in my collection (and that was my Comet, then $400 Devil's Dare, next maximum is $300 which is when things start to average out around there).
Quoted from Otaku:Anything that needs replaced would likely be interchangeable from something else and these games almost look like Williams games so I wonder if they just used Williams parts.
Yes, that is exactly right. Sonic/Segasa games use Williams parts.
Very nice looking Segasa "Cannes" EM listed for $800 near Seattle: seattle.craigslist.org link
Quoted from o-din:If I didn't buy four games yesterday I'll admit this one would be tempting.

have you ever played a swing along????
it really is a dud. and i don't say that about many games.

No, but thanks for the tip!
No clowning around here-
Quoted from Vic_Camp:That's a nice original Flipper Fair. Great player too.
flipper is my favorite of the flipper series but they all are pretty good.
It's not a bad looking game. I'm happy to have the original "Flipper". I sure don't see those come up for sale. And never saw a woodrail version.

Oh man....I wish I was local or even close to there, I would grab it and redo it. I already did one in about the shape.

Come on Ken, you know you want it, just a short drive away.

Nice looking Flipper Fair. I've got one & it's a great layout and rule set for an AAB game. Subway also has the same layout if the clown thing bugs ya... but I think the juggling backglass animation is perfect for the theme.
This one needs white flippers, two green pop caps, two red 1pt caps, and please move the rubber *behind* that center 100 pt target.

Wonder who will guess it. Jackbot? Funhouse?
Quoted from pinwiztom:Heat Wave,

it has a gtb arch sticker, but with the outhole kicker coil topside i would say it is a system 1 game

First time I ever saw one. Great movie! Amazing what they could do without computer generated animation. Sad, but those days are gone for good.

Is that why there are so many whitewashed cabinets out there? Because Tom Sawyer convinced everyone that it was soooo much fun to whitewash a pinball machine cabinet??

That would be awesome! Mine is in decent shape but weirdly it appears that the screeners missed a colour on mine -- no light brown sand on my beach, it is just blank with the white background showing through! Plus a few dodgy touchups means I might go for a reproduction if they become available.
