Political Correctness... extremely overrated, I ever tell ya??

But I wonder if that is Mel Blanc doing that voice for the Frito Bandito?

I don't know... but it would probably be a decent bet.

Funny how something as simple as common sense (or uncommon sense, as I like to call it) is so refreshing and can have such a ring of truth to it.

And this nation was founded on that same common sense. But our founding fathers would roll over in their graves if they could see what this country has become now.

#11218 9 years ago

Wow, I just heard that Stan Freberg has passed.

#11219 9 years ago

I should just get this myself, but I am officially out of space , thanks to another nice buy from Stashboy.

I'm picking up a pretty nice one in two weeks for $450. They're definitely out there for less than $1,500. It's a very fun game, though!

Vicious, vicious gobble holes...

They are indeed cruel. The layout must have done well enough on route though, as they used it twice (this and QoD). At least it doesn't have a roto target.

But this is the lower production version of the two.

Just go to Denny's. It's the same slop with a different name.

Easy for you to say. We don't have Waffle House's around here.

I don't know. That was one of the highlights driving across this country.

I like gobble holes even though at times I curse them!

You must not have stopped much.

Two days from So Cal to Jacksonville Beach last time. I had a hurricane to catch.

I think they make them really small so it is easier to clean the grease off the walls. That's assuming they ever bother.....

I think the sign is the best part of a Waffle House.

#11235 9 years ago
Quoted from EMsInKC:

You're unbelievably lucky...

Yeah, I sure wasn't impressed with the food.

Could have been the particular one I stopped at... I don't know.

But I don't think I'd stop at another one to find out though.

#11236 9 years ago

I had the waffle and porterhouse steak combo. It was tasty.

and fwiw, i LOVE awful house...

There was a time I would drive 3000 miles to catch hurricane waves and eat at Waffle House, but today I don't feel like driving twenty miles to get this. Pictures might have got me a bit more enthused.

#11242 9 years ago

Dude you are nuts for not going to look at the Royal Guard.

I never understand guys who try and sell a game on CL and don't put up pictures. How freaking hard is it?

I wouldn't walk across the street for Waffle House. I would probably cross the street to avoid it, though.

#11244 9 years ago

Dateline did an undercover investigation a few years back of all the restaurant chains and Waffle House was deemed the worst and nastiest restaurant chain in the country. That's probably why it tasted so good.

I can live with nasty. You eat KC barbecue, you're likely to eat in some places that can't pass Health Dept codes. But it's freaking delicious.

WH, not so much.
