Yeah, me too. I love this stuff but it's not as simple to search for as pinball.

Quoted from davideokills:It would be good to compile a list of search terms that people can use to find good stuff.
coin op/operated
vintage arcade/game
antique arcade/game
penny arcade
gun game
I usually search using some of those variations as well as:
Ball bowler, bowling machine, bowling game, skeeball, skee ball, Chicago coin, Genco, Exhibit Supply, Esco, Irving Kaye, Keeney etc.
I saw that. Look closer though. It's not a true Genco. It's reproduction made by Benchmark. It's still an interesting game at a nice price compared to original. I would imagine servicing the boardset in the future could be challenging. At least that's the impression I get from reading about their Ten Strike reproduction.
This one is kind of neat. I'm guessing it's a conversion to Shoot the Bear?

Quoted from presqueisle:Some good deals there, Alex. I so wish I had a place for that fortune machine! ARRRRGHHH
Thanks! About the same footprint as a Skill Roll. The only machine I have that my youngest daughter will miss. Her and her friends put a few dimes in it over the years. The nice thing is they read their fortune and then set them down. So you can recycle them.
I did about a month back I think. It could fit, I just decided to move in another direction. Cleaning house a bit. Sold my beloved Jungle this weekend. Still feels sort of weird. Kind of liberating and sad at the same time.
Quoted from Mopar:If you were closer Alex, I'd be interested in the Fortune also..
Wonder why it is that I got the impression that you just recently
picked up the Lucky Strike? (T)
Road trip! I did just pick up the bowler about month back. I have a few nibbles on it, but who knows, if it doesn't sell soon maybe I will start working on it. It's pretty cool with a lot of potential. For me dedicating the time is the hardest part.
When I say first production I mean first model. At least I am pretty sure it wasn't the first down the line.
Yeah, I have considered selling it a few times but my wife loves how it looks, and we went through hell to get it. There was another one right after named Shuffle-cade. It was the weirdest thing when I bought the Skee Alley I had it in the trailer at a restaurant in Indiana. My wife needed to use the bathroom (long story). Anyway this guy comes up and is like hey is that one of those shuffle games. I was like yeah? He was all excited to tell me he had one like it named Shuffle-Cade. He probably would have sold it but I didn't pursue it. I was on a tight budget and wanted to get back home. Anyway I have never seen another one (Shuffle-Cade) and thought it was weird there was two of these old timers in the same town.
Here's one I have never seen before. United made a lot of bowling machines but didn't know they made a wall game?
