Good catch. I didn't make the connection. The CL ad says Elgin and there's no map, but a little research shows the contact info is actually for a pinball guy in Rock Island (quad cities). I think he lists a lot. Wonder if he grabbed it for a quick flip?

#974 8 years ago

If I remember right that one in Quad Cities had new boards in it too.

If you look back in this thread there have been quite a few cheap Cleopatras. So there's always the chance another will come up for sale.

I emailed but didn't receive a response. I'm going to start looking for system 1 projects closer to the MGC.

Monte Carlo $1100

This one's been around a while. Has anyone checked it out? He's not too far from me but his price is a tad high.

I wonder if there's a way to set this game up tougher so it just don't become "bash the right target all day long".

Drill the playfield and install a post in front of the right target. That'll make it more challenging.

Any of you experts know where I can get a translite like the one on that monte carlo or should I stick with an original replacement

#998 8 years ago

You probably already know this website.

I personally like the original much more than the alternate.

For some reason I thought he meant the backglass not the playfield glass.
