Just saw this in the Detroit area...

Not an expensive title, but 2 for $650 sounds really good.

Fun game, wouldn't mind finding one local at that price.

**Ad missing. There is nothing here**
Manufacturer: Gottlieb
Game/Type: Hollywood Heat / SS
Year: June 1986
Production: 3,400
Cost: $500
Location: Hyde Park, NY
Link/Contact: hudsonvalley.craigslist.org link

Condition: OP: "...received it as a gift and wife says it has to go , did work when I got it but decided to take all bulbs out to replace them and clean the playfield but of course took it apart and lost interest. All it needs is all the bulbs replaced( which I have ) , 1 solenoid for the left bottom flipper , the top right of the cabinet has some damage( which doesn't affect play )and you should be good to go."

Data East Secret Service in Aurora, IL - $1350

Quoted from Aurich:

Anyone want a Dracula for $500?
sandiego.craigslist.org link

Dracula's a lot a fun. I did end up selling mine, but miss it sometimes. The layout is a lot of fun.

The worst thing about it, and most classic Sterns, was sound. I swear I hear nothing but various pitches of robot farts on SB-100 games!

With the recent release of the Bally/Stern controller board by MyPinballs, Dracula would be a great candidate for new rules and sounds.

Looks like I might be selling my Fireball II, I'll post a listing, but mentioning it here first for the solid state fans.

That looks like a cool game, nice artwork too. Pretty sure i'd be living on the street if i brought home another one right now

I have a really pretty looking one, but still, it's not really worth shipping.

#620 8 years ago

Hmmm, replacing it with another Bally?

Yeah, only reason I'm selling it is to hopefully stick another 1980 Bally in its spot.

Fathom?

So you're finally getting a Medusa? I'd love to play one eventually.

Nothing finalized yet, but yeah, hopefully. That's enough to give up this FBII over.

I finally got my Xenon done. It's listed here for $1650.
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/for-sale-fsft-very-nice-xenon-plays-great-shopped
Started working on a Lost world that should go up for sale in another week.

#628 8 years ago

I'm newer to the community but I hate the term shopped as it has no meaning, one person replaces the rubber and calls it shopped, others strip everything replace all parts and plastics and polish/wax PF and the list goes on.

Anyways just my rant for the morning

Both near Columbia SC, probably the same seller:

Harlem Globetrotters, Columbia SC, $1500 - expensive but worth it because "All coils have been lubed"!

Mata Hari with CPR playfield (?), $1500 - not a bad deal (if coils aren't lubed)

This looks like a smokin' deal.

Wow dmbjunky, you've been busy. I know how much time it takes to find these deals. Thank you for all of your hard work! More people benefit from your efforts than you will ever know.

It was no big deal. I have a CL search bookmarked and I check it day to day but I hadn't looked in awhile.

I agree. I'm really liking that era of Bally and wish I could get another like this or Escape from Lost World.

yeah. Or strange science. Would give some good variety to a collection. Hardbody is on my watchlist too.

Anytime I see a Bally 6803 game I think about the shitty cabinet art/construction and crappy flipper mechs and talk myself out of getting it.

I agree on the cabinet but the art on the playfield and backglass is so cool on a lot of them. When I get around to seriously restoring my City Slicker, I'm thinking about making some better cabinet art. I haven't heard about the crappy flipper mechs. Are they really a problem? Is there anything to do about that?

#649 8 years ago

I just picked up a truck stop, so I'm curious as well since it uses a lot of 6803 parts

Replace them with WPC mechs.

Strange Science is on my list for new cabinet art when I get through my repair backlog.
