Quoted from dearliza98:Hey all. A lady from Nashville emailed me last night about purchasing 3 bingo pinball machines. She says they light up but "she doesn't know anything about them". She sent some terrible pics but maybe some of you experts can make out what they are.
Pretty sure I could offer anything and she would take it but I don't even know if it's worth the effort if they aren't working. Just wondering what you all think and feel free to contact me if you want to discuss. Thanks!
They're outside. Hopefully that isn't their home, otherwise jump ship NOW and don't look back. If it was stored outside it is trash or close to it, especially with solid-state components. I would not take them for free if they were left out there.
Quoted from dearliza98:Thanks for the info everybody. I'm inclined to just leave it be. I certainly don't have the interest to fix them or keep them. I just wondered if there was a decent bit of money to be made if I went through the trouble to get them.
Probably not at all. Bingo seems fun but just doesn't have the social popularity as something as huge as (flipper, regular, whatever) pinball. Bingo games are incredibly niche, especially now-a-days. I see most bingo machines sit for around $150-$250 on eBay and Craigslist. Sit, meaning, not selling. At least whoever is looking for their first game won't have too too much trouble, but you really have to be for a bingo machine to go and buy one, while at the same time you have like a billion collectors, dads, uncles, midlife crisises, you name it: looking for anything (flipper) pinball.
bingopodcast has been doing great things with Bingo Row and bringing new people like myself to even care about bingo machines, but it's still a very tiny (but growing) spec on the pinball map, at least for now.
