Quoted from Bribo13:

Great thread guys.
I like the Bingo games as a novelty, they are kind of fun to play but not for a long time..... I just love the cabinet art . the back glass is very nice on many of them too.

Yeah, they would have been a LOT more fun back when you could (hopefully) win $$$$ on them.

I just jumped and bought a Bally Show Time that showed up on craigslist close to home last week.

Welcome to the club -- I have Bally Show Time in my restore queue

Reproduction backglass and wrong graphics on cabinet repaint but not a bad price.

Wow, it's weird - flipper pins are more expensive here on the West coast, but it seems like Bingo pins are almost free.
$100 Bingos are common.

Nick will only need ONE bingo in the near future!

Yeah, it's cool, but he will be missing out on all of the cool mysterious mechanical sounds that the bingo pins make when they are doing their thing..

Maybe put some stoppers & relays in the cabinet for the clicking and clicking noises.

#214 3 years ago
Quoted from bingopodcast:

I've got relays in there, motors, coils, a bell, etc. Gonna add a replay register for the step up/step down sounds and stepper and control unit/mixer will be pre-recorded playback. There are a few different types of stepper, but because Bally used standardized parts, they mostly make the same sounds. I also need to play back trip relay sounds (or put a trip bank in the game....)

Sweet

Bingo pins would be a LOT more fun if the gambling aspect was still there. In home use they are ok as a novelty, but I can't see having more than one or two.

I foolishly passed on this parts bingo today @ the Redmond, Oregon old car swap meet. Pretty sure I could have had it for $20
No room to store it @ home!

Quoted from Pecos:

Another Sea Island? I would have paid $50 just for the parts I need for my Sea Island! And even though the backglass is cracked, it is in better shape than mine.
Buying Pinball and Bingo pins is like real estate. Location, Location, Location!!!

It was pretty rough.

This appears to be a free Showtime in southern Washington.
