I have a Heat Wave that came with a broken backglass. Thanks to pinballprowess I now have a perfect reproduction done who knows when, by who knows who. But it is very nice! Thank you sir!

It's a very nice backglass whoever did it, and I am very happy to have it. I'd bet Steve at Mayfair might have an idea who and when it was done. He seems to know a lot about backglasses.

Quoted from EMsInKC:

Does it have a black mask on the back side, and it's sandwiched between two pieces of glass?

No, it is screenprinted directly on the back of the glass just like the original.

I do know Williams re ran several of their vintage glasses in the mid 90s when business was booming, but not sure they did this title or not.

I want pics !

Maybe when I get home from work. Yes, I do work if you could call it that.

Heat Wave seems to be one of those iconic games from the 60s that makes you feel a little bit lucky when you acquire one. And I'll admit I got very excited when I finally secured one for myself.

Everybody that comes over wants to play it. Over and over again.

It never gets old. At least the playfield doesn't, as it has that top quality top coat Williams was using in that era. The backglasses are another story as they can fade, peel, and have many past touchups . Or as is the case with mine, all of the above and a broken off corner to boot. But no more!
