Playboy 35th Anniversary
Data East, 1989Working on a Playboy 35th anniversary and the whole row (R31-R38) of resistors is getting so hot. If I left the machine on it would probably start on fire. Hopefully someone has come across this problem before. What would cause this? Where should I look next?

Well, I would check what voltage is supposed to be feeding through those resistors and check to see what actual voltage is going through.
The power supply is prone to needing fixing. I know certain Caps leak and the voltage regulator goes bad too. (I had to rebuild my power supply on mine)
