Quoted from Vyzer2:

Sounds like Jen is doing him a favor.

At $6500- it's an easy sell.....let him sell it and make the extra money. If we do it we are bad guys.

Games we bought back like this, people got mad at us for buying back at the $6500 and then giving to the next person in the waiting list and how come so and so just got a game and I had to wait- we got punched no matter what we did.

It's better at this point for us to stay out of it, let them sell the game on their own and we are not bad guys- apparently that was not a good answer for this guy either.

By the way, we have given full refunds, not many really over all this time......several times we refunded people, sold the game in moments and then the same day or a day or two later the person calls to say, cancel my cancellation!

Uh....your game is gone.

How can it be gone if you did not build it yet?

They get mad at us.

This is real stuff, can't make it up. That's why at this point, let them sell whatever they want to sell or buy on the open market.

We told everyone that after point x this was a special order game and while we have a waiting list.

The waiting list was great when we refunded $7500 and resold at $7500

Once the price online went over that.....we have to step aside and let the free and open market decide what happens.

Hard to explain in a post on Pinside but that's reality and we will look like opportunists if we are in the middle, it's happened already, again, no win situation.

I heard someone the other day bought a ECLEWOZ at $9800. so Gabe, you are right again.

Quoted from islandpinball:

Wait a second JJP is hurting financially because they didn't refund the money?
I would have thought the exact opposite and said that they game me my $6,500 back and flipped it for $7,500 to another customer, what a joke! they must be really hurting financially to make another $1,000 off of me instead of telling me the marketplace is a better place to sell it at this point in time.

That's exactly correct.

See my post.

I'm sorry it is taking so long to get everyone a game but everyone is better understanding what we built and what we want the game to be.
