…… you can get the same effect when a #44's filament decides to twist itself in a knot and partially short, but not *quite* enough to instantly blow out? Geez this bulb could light a freakin' ROOM! Was still going when I yanked it out after a couple of minutes. Why does this kind of stuff always happen the day after you cleaned and re-rubbered the pf? Figures, the lamp says 'China' on it.
