If you are in Canada, never, ever pay sticker price on any TV. You can go into Visions and haggle a price far better than Best Buy will ever have. Also, if you subscribe to Visions email newsletter, you get 2 years additional warranty FREE.
I play some games so I stuck with LCD tech, but if it was viewing only then I would buy an OLED, probably Sony. I've had shitty warranty experience with LG, but I really liked their 3d. It was comfortable. The 3d with shutter glasses was NOT comfortable.
