Quoted from luckymoey:I don’t get all the love for the premium vs. pro that seems to go well beyond even the usual owner hype/love. I’ve played both numerous times, and while the T-Rex is very cool, there is no major difference in game play between models. And numerous owners saying an animated T-Rex head is “the greatest toy ever” in pinball is ridiculous IMO.
After the novelty of the TREX wears of, it doesn’t add much to the game. From a scoring perspective, you are actually better off if the TREX doesn’t catch the ball on the first TREX multiball. You get a ballsave while you wait for the game to plunge ball 2, can use that time to earn points.
Raptor multiball is easier to start on the Pre/LE so there is that.
I’m not 100% sure why delt thinks the JP pro isn’t JP, its a very good pro. The whole package on the LE is great, but you can easily enjoy the pro.
