Looks like a helicopter or drone to me but I have no idea how big it is. It appears to have a typical flashing light you see on aircraft in the latter part of the video.

That is very interesting. My question is if this were some breakthrough tech wouldn’t the US government put it in the patents secrecy system?
The release of these patents makes me think they could be a decoy to distract our foreign adversaries such as China and Russia. These patents could cause those countries to go on wild, time consuming, fruitless and expensive goose chases trying to match a tech that does not work.
The other possibility is that they have something that works and is “enabled” as the military says in the patent appeal brief but would be easily copied by others once the device is seen.

The patent is not important from a military superiority perspective. If it were that important they would not have a public patent. The patent is for preventing others in the US from making and selling the technology. Alternatively, the patent as I said above could merely be to cause other countries to think they need to spend resources on what they don't know is a BS technology (if it is a sort of ruse patent).
If it were a ruse patent, then the military is abusing the patent system.

A programmer could find out who did the white out area. I don’t understand. Could it be a bug that google earth is not aware of?
