Quoted from BallyKISS1978:So what in the hell can it be?? This pic raises more questions than answers??
Picture of samurai. Between this and the Japanese text pinboru puzzle, I would have to agree, all signs point to Godzilla

Quoted from bobukcat:I think I just had too high expectations / aspirations for the movie, most of the fight scenes were pretty good but there were some pretty lousy CGI elements here and there. The plot was about normal for a Godzilla movie but the acting was just awful IMO and don't get me started on those flying pod things, that just jumped the shark for me. I'm sure I'll watch it again though.
The whole movie was awful. 2 hours of my life I can never get back.
Quoted from BallyKISS1978:So tell me then why are you here besides trolling. What did you expect Gone with the Wind? It’s a giant monster movie and fan rating on Rotten Tomatoes is 92% and critic score of 75%. So you are clearly the minority. So go ahead and feel free to leave this thread and bash Godzilla on the Next Stern thread. It was a really good Godzilla movie and most fans who have been there for over 40 years really enjoyed it. There’s 3 minutes of my life I won’t get back responding to you.
Just being honest. The movie was awful regardless of whether you like Godzilla or not.
Quoted from BallyKISS1978:To any company it’s about the bottom line and as making as much money as possible. The amount that would be sold in Japan would be huge just there because Godzilla is still a big deal. It will do well here and if done right on route also.
Godzilla is very well known and would most likely draw interest from non pinball players to play and possibly buy. People don’t realize how popular Godzilla is. In this stupid pandemic Godzilla vs Kong has made $350 million globally.
Is pinball now popular in Japan? I saw arcades everywhere when I lived there in the early to mid 90's timeframe but don't recall ever seeing a pinball machine.

9k for a premium? LOL. Stern has lost their minds.
Quoted from Oneangrymo:Keep going back and fourth on this one, order or not order, tis the question.
At 9k, definitely not for me.
Quoted from CrazyLevi:Why?
People will pay extra for a topper. Also, not everybody wants a topper.
I’m glad my Zep LE doesn’t have that chintzy, noisy contraption on top.
Because the price and features are ridiculous for what you get.
Quoted from Chambahz:Upgraded speakers, artblades, armour, invisiglass, mirrored back glass, shaker motor.
What do you think the value is for those items? I think they definitely exceed the price difference.
The art blades and shaker are the only ones I care about there and can be added to a premium for $200. Either way, pricing on these has gotten ridiculous. I'm out on NIB.
Quoted from PilotPinball:I might be the only person here who made their money to buy their pins off working with Japanese kaiju.
And?... omedetogozaimazu. So where do you live in Japan?
Quoted from PinPickle:I had absolutely zero interest in this title but this game looks outstanding.
Im pretty disappointed Elwin apparently isnt't doing BTTF. That is one of the few Stern rumored titles I might be willing to pay the new, ridiculous prices if the playfield was loaded and packed like this one.
If it is a Borg design, though, I just don't have faith it would have this type of layout and innovation.
Quoted from ZoraShinoda:There is buy it now option ones for 15k, people are silly. There is also a make offer button on several of them, I offered 11k on a few of them and all my offers were immediately rejected to no surprise.
So that begs the question, with the recent Stern price increases, where do we see the value of good LE's going from now (time will tell if Godzilla is even close to JP level but the Elwin factor is intriguing). Will they at least hold their value?
I'm not sure what to think right now. Prices are crazy.
Quoted from wtatumjr:Check out what JJP did with WOZ. I bought an ECLE. Then Ruby Red came out. Then Yellow Brick road. Stern will do what's best to sell games, I don't really blame them as they are in business to make money.
And they all suck IMO. I couldn't sell WOZ fast enough. No offense
