Quoted from Haymaker:

LE's always get that and I think invisiglass, different side art, upgraded speakers, and an autograph of some sort

So....jack sh--t then. I mean, assuming the art package is to one's liking, it's not a.....terrible increase... I suppose for the upgraded stuff (and especially not having to install it yourself lol), but if money is tight all that can be added later. 2500 isn't a great value for that stuff if you're handy.

Quoted from nicoy3k:

I am usually not anti plastics but I don’t like using plastics to build main mechs like the bridge or building...

If they shimmed the underside with metal, shouldn't really be an issue. Plastic ramps have been around forever, and hold up just fine. Biggest risk is getting bonked by that magnet throwing balls around.

#1102 2 years ago

I was / am hoping for some kind of really cool lighting effect for nuclear breath, thought they might work in the expression lighting system for that.

#1103 2 years ago

The artwork looks well executed. But where is the campy vintage horror film? Where are the 70’s? Where is the Japan?

#1104 2 years ago

Does the Godzilla doll move?

#1105 2 years ago

Looks freaking awesome! Very creative layout and the interactive mechs are amazing... I can only imagine how fun the bridge and building will be in person. The whole package has that classic Godzilla vibe they were obviously going for - just perfect IMHO.

So happy I got an LE on the way...

Look forward to seeing more and need to obvious see it on stream but immediate first reaction is disappointment. That art? Just not what I was expecting from Jeremy - godzilla doesn't look menacing at all. Also the mech that was super hyped is that bridge? The godzilla sculps don't look good and that bridge and other building going down is fine but that's it? Keith's JP trex and how it interacts with the ball is still by far his best toy and stern's best in some time.

Layout looks great - pro could be the winner here especially with the prem bump in price.

BTTF better be a Joe K game b/c we really need them to bring it!

#1107 2 years ago

LE for 10k...no thanks but the Premium is definitely compelling, although I think the center mechs should have been in the pro as well. I can't believe they've omitted that mech.

#1108 2 years ago

We've come a long way, baby.

My only complaint is the bridge and the tower covered in cheap/chinsy plastics, but the mod community can and will throw something together I'm sure.

This game has all the potential makings of greatness.

-- I want to see the light show
-- I want to hear the sounds
-- I want to see the rules

I'm sure I won't be disappointed in any of this, but these are my last few questions now.

Looks amazing in every way!

Another monster hit from Stern, and a game you can order and receive in timely fashion without having your money stolen.

How do they do it?!

The LE will resell for 15k or more.

Not that I would do that.... but if you are worried about the cost of an LE, you shouldn't be. You'll get your money back if/when you decide to move on.

Just like mando and AIQ

LE cab art is beautiful!

#1115 2 years ago

I'm a lifelong Godzilla fan who has lived in Japan. This was my dream theme. I'm number three on the waiting list. I hate the art. There I said it. It's not Japanese at all. No moving Godzilla mech? I'm probably going to pass.

#1116 2 years ago

Anyone managed to get a confirmed coil count yet?

What is that fisher price font?? Wtf

#1118 2 years ago

I may be wrong, but does the building on the Prem have different ball paths based on what floor it's raised to? At 0:46 sec in the trailer, in slow mo the ball hits the left 180deg ramp and returns over the bridge. But it looks like the floor below has a crossing path which would go out the other side. If so, that's bad ass.

#1119 2 years ago

The premium art package looks better. The LE trim looks terrible.

#1121 2 years ago

WOW THATS AWSOME!!

#1122 2 years ago

Feature matrix and more pics uploaded on Sterns website.

The art looks like it was executed by someone who has never seen a Godzilla film. The vibe is completely wrong. Spooky got the feel correct for Ultraman though.

Yes, this has always been the case for LE's with maybe the exception of Tron

Oh come on ,,, looks great!

#1128 2 years ago

Looks awesome, love to see that clever use of the magnets and all the interesting "wow factor" mechs (bridge, building, mechagodzilla, etc). Couldn't care less about Godzilla, but this looks like a masterpiece.

Zombie yeti is Uber talented but I haven’t really understood his direction for the last two games, total misses IMO.

LE is up on the Stern shop (need to be signed up for Stern Insider): https://shop.sternpinball.com/collections/collectibles/products/stern-insider-godzilla-le

edit: now says it's out of stock

#1131 2 years ago

This is definitely ZY's worst art package.

#1132 2 years ago

You can buy an LE for MSRP on Stern's website..I don't think it's live yet.

#1133 2 years ago

Pretty much all I care about:

“ The game also includes the iconic title song “Godzilla” by Blue Oyster Cult”

Looks amazing, I'm definitely leaning Premium over Pro, still have to check out the features matrix to evaluate LE

only complaint: Godzilla is not green!! He's gray!

#1137 2 years ago

$8,999 Premium....

#1138 2 years ago

Innovation again!!!!

#1139 2 years ago

I missed an LE again! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

#1140 2 years ago

LE art is def the best although not a fan of the art style in general.

#1141 2 years ago

9k for a premium? LOL. Stern has lost their minds.

#1142 2 years ago

Yay! This week in pinball is back!

It was a rough 8 days there.

#1143 2 years ago

Sold out! Jezus

#1144 2 years ago

Gotta say, not a big fan of the art. I was really hoping for something darker. I was hoping for a mixture of greens, blacks, and red/orange. It looks like all the other Sterns.

#1145 2 years ago

FOMO is in high gear

#1146 2 years ago

$6900 Pro. Wow. I wonder what the street price will be?

interesting that you could buy one at all from them.....

#1148 2 years ago

Did they have extra armor from Mando LE and decided to slap it on?

Quoted from delt31:

They did this with Mando too. That time I was not prepared to refresh every 5 seconds. This time I did and still missed it! I wonder how many were sold this way. 3? Lol

Keith Elwin is on a different level. He’s like having five designers in one.
