Personal preference for this theme would be TOHO and early/throwback SS layout (no ramps or toys, like Seawitch/Beatles was) and a full layout like an early Bally (e.g. Skateball/Fathom).

Even if Stern does the absolutely bat shit ass wrong f’n thing and base the Godzilla pin off of the new film we will likely get a code hacker hero to make it right like on JP and TMNT. I hope they keep it classic though, seems idiotic not to.

I definitely would love to see these scenes in there. That would be be awesome. I prefer old Godzilla but would not turn down the new ones. I hope we hear something soon. The movie was so awesome to watch in theaters. My kids loved it.

Exactly! The new ones would have some killer sound effects to pull from. Either way adding a sub woofer to it.

For sure the subsonics in Godzilla [2014] were some of the best. I like to replay the train trestle scene to give the windows a good rattle.

Most definitely! Love when Godzilla gets ready to fire his atomic breathe. That build up sound effects in his spikes is sick!!
Heisei era is rad, I’ve made a bunch of posts about it in this thread. My hope is that the game spans showa through Heisei
Era and leaves out the most recent US Godzilla abominations haha

I would not turn one down. Anything but the 1995 Godzilla with Broderick works for me.
I’m purposely staying off of pinside and this thread for as long as I can... This is a must have theme for me. I only drop in during moments of weakness. Almost any era will scratch the itch except fake Godzilla. A guarantee however is they’ll sell a ton of them if King Ghidorah, Mothra and MechaGodzilla have prominent billing as toys on the playfield. My wife might even “let” me purchase this one...

I agree with everyone posting above after watching the movie.
With no spoilers, horrible plot, some amazing monster battles and then back to horrible plot. In short, just like the most of the Godzilla movies for the most part .
This wasn't Shin Godzilla . I liked the movie for what it was - a Godzilla and King Kong movie. Lots of homages to the original.
I hope there is going to be a little more to the pinball machine than this movie but it will make me want to probably play it before I buy it.

There is nowhere to go. The movie rights go back to Toho for several years of Japanese made Godzilla movies. But yeah, I wanted to see SOMETHING after credits too
Just back from the movie, I thought it was awesome...no one goes to these movies for plot, you go for the action, sounds, music and experience. Best movie I’ve seen in theaters over the last fourteen months for sure.
My family really enjoyed it. My four year old has been asking tons of questions about the movie for the last hour. He’s really interested in the axe and it’s history. I am too!
