I had it in the back of my mind for several years to buy a pin. I looked into the prices on eBay once or twice and decided I just couldn't afford it. Little did I know how much more expensive they would be when I finally bought my first!
So, I am sure I would have done it a lot sooner if I'd had more disposable income. This is not an inexpensive hobby, even at the bottom end. Still, I'm grateful that I finally took the plunge. It has been a lot of fun. I just replaced a flipper assembly this evening. Who knew that could be so enjoyable? I'm not sure which I like more, fixing them or playing them.
