That looks slippery! Does it clog up your plumbing/dryer vents?

Not slippery really. Little ice glaze on the shingles, but the ice protects the shingles a bit from the shovels. Can't get aggressive on them.
The vents get blocked, but they don't get clogged, the "attic" ones I clear around so it can breathe, the plumbing stacks still seem to breathe nicely coveredin snow, but if it gets super super cold they can freeze over and we have to sometimes break it up. Doesn't really happen much.
Dryer vents out a side wall, if we vent out the roof, it makes a giant ice dam from the heat melting snow, it can be a mess.

Always been a fan of child labour myself!
I try to keep the snow on the roof for as long as possible for extra insulation, dont get those amounts around here tho.

We usually never do. This has been a very unusual winter for snowfall. Wayyy to much

I would imagine 100 degrees fahrenheit is a pretty rare occurrence up there.

Wasn’t a flake of snow here Friday.
Little neighbor kid for reference

Quoted from Nhpolarbear:Way to early for me…..it’s coming to N.H. soon.
I thought polar bears could handle the cold!
Winter is setting in. Sub 30 every morning. Nothing like what’s coming to Buffalo. I’ll take the cold, they can have the snow. Happy shoveling!
You can only blow so many ice bubbles for the kids before the novelty wears off.
At least this weekend is shaping up pretty nice around here.
