I'm sitting here, watching a Planet of the Apes marathon, and was thinking this would make an awesome pinball theme. What do you think?

    #2 6 years ago

    Yes, it would.

    #3 6 years ago

I'm watching the same thing. As long as they kept it classic, it could have potential.

    #4 6 years ago

I've been saying this on RGP since that new movie came out a few years ago. Would make an awesome pin if they did it based on the original movies. Net falls on your ball for a Lock - "Get your stinking paws off me you damn dirty ape!"

So many great quotes and ideas for a pin!

    #5 6 years ago

So many great ideas for pins , so few people accually making them .

    #6 6 years ago

    Original movies absolutely. Classic flick.

Fake black fur for the cabinet sides is a must.

For sure, great theme. Especially with LTG's LE mod !

Own all of the movies! "Madness I tell you, madness". Great theme for a pin!~SpOoKy

Pinball, Rock and Roll, and Planet of the Apes. This is what lifes all about!

    #12 6 years ago

That would be a sweet pin.

    #13 6 years ago

    not so much i think

    #14 6 years ago

The classic first is on now. Still.... all these years later a great film work.~SpOoKy

'You blew it all to hell!' (oscar clip)

I like the idea . . . and I REALLY like LTG's idea of the fur!

Just don't be near it on a hot muggy day. Fur stinks.

Not sure how I missed this topic but a neat POTA pin would be great!!

Someone should mention this to Ben Heck. He was talking about creating a new "licensed" pin. It is a solid theme.

it would be too controversial...remember, they had white apes and black apes in the film...which ones would you put on a pinball machine? if you just used white apes the naacp would have a fit and if you just used black apes the thing wouldn't sell

This gets my vote for "dumbass post of the week"

If a Major did it, it would probably have to be the new films. A boutique company could do the 1968 version.

    Banana shooter?

    #26 4 years ago

    Bananna flippers!!!

I watched the new movie last night. And it rained a lot in that movie. All I could keep thinking is what do all those apes smell like in the rain ?

    #28 4 years ago

    I would buy one!

    #29 4 years ago

I am going to see the new one tomorrow. I love this series and I think it would make a great pin. Now if we could only erase that Tim Burton piece of crap. I don't think I have ever been that disappointed since SWEP1.

Shit , that's why I want them to keep their stinking paws off me , those damn dirty apes !

With Godzilla and Planet of the Apes, this summer is a flashback to the afternoon movies of my youth. Some of the later Apes movies were horrendous. Love the original and the reboot. The Marky Mark version is impossible to watch.
