I had my mph board out of my robocop. When I installed it I had the display ribbon cable plugged in upside down... oops. When I powered up the machine. He display was all garbled. I powered down. Plugged in the ribbon cable properly. When I powered up. My upper display turned on but my lower is dark? I tried reseating all my connectors but the display is still out. Did I damage board components?

Check fuses

You didn't damage anything. Only TTL signals are on the ribbon. Reseat the ribbon. Make sure it's completely seated on all pins.

All fuses good. I'm getting my +100, -100 and 5v at my display board. Top display works but bottom still dark?

It's not a power issue. If it were, both displays would be out.

Do you have all three connectors, top right if MPU connected?

The lower display glass is probably fried. It was probably marginal to begin with and plugging ribbon in backwards pushed it over the edge. Seen it once before.

Checked my connectors. Still not working. Is my lower display fried? It was working and showed no signs of outgassing.

It's not fried but it might be dead. Flipping the ribbon did not cause this. Merely coincidence.

Do you have another one to swap?

No I don't have another. Guess I gotta order a new display. Thanx to everyone
