Good thread. It's amazing how much snoother it goes with the right tools. Still slowly acquiring the right tools. Had some stuff from restoring arcade machines, but basically zero tools before I started this madness:

Compressor
Staple gun
Security bit
Dremel
Cordless drill
Workbench
Socket Wrenches
Soldering iron
Hand sander (desperately need to upgrade)
Tumbler
Ultrasonic cleaner
Shop vac
Micro fiber cloths
Rotisserie
Vice/anvil
Buff wheel

I really want an uber sander like a festool, but only have time to pull off 1 big restoration/year, so probably doesn't make sense (yet...)
