I believe Cory Hart sang Sunglasses at Night. The song o-din is quoting is by the band Timbucktu? Don't hold me to the spelling.

You're right and both those songs sucked. Ha

Actually - it was Timbuk-3

Quoted from mikeincali:

The overall length is 8 feet. The lane length is 7 feet. Width is about 2 feet, and height of head would be about 6 feet with legs on. I need the space badly and I'm will to take a loss and sell it for 400.00.

1200.00 for my Ball Bowler and Puck Bowler.

I have decided it is time to put my Gottlieb Flipper up for sale and let somebody else enjoy it. It is a highly collectable machine as it was the first wedgehead and fairly rare as they only made 685 like this.

http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?gid=891

This example has some So Cal history attached to it as I was told by the previous owner that it spent it's early days at the Pike and it still has Long Beach tax stickers on it from that era. I recently shopped it out and it is clean and all working.

Boston Pinball shows the average price of Flipper at $1357 but have sold as high as $4951. This one I will sell for $1350 and includes a brand new repro backglass from Shay and the original as well.

I am also open to trades. Machines I am looking for are Williams games that I don't have yet from 1965 and prior including woodrails, but namely Heat Wave, Three Coins, and Four Roses. And Bally multiball games from the 60s like Star-Jet, The Wiggler, and Capersville.

That looks like a cool pin. GLWTS

#56 4 years ago

It is a cool machine and it is the last of the wedgeheads I have owned. It is also the one I kept the longest.

Hard to argue with that. On a personal level, I'd have Holy Diver and Last In Line up the top, followed by the Rainbow albums. But the Dio Sabbath albums are strong ... Soooo harddddd

rd.

#61 4 years ago

Maybe I should leave this here.

#62 4 years ago

Blackmore is a God.

Deep Purple Mk3 is my favorite lineup.

Amazingly, Coverdale sings better and looks better (due to all the plastic surgery...) today... 40 years after that video was shot.

Enjoyed that video. Thanks.

Yeah I just listed them, but really I think of them more in tiers, with H&H/Rising/Holy Diver all occupying the top spot.

I'm a late convert and honestly I think the entire body of work is incredibly strong. The only albums out of all of those that I wouldn't refer to as great or really good are Killing the Dragon and Angry Machines.

Holy diver and last in line...top 2

Dio eh?

Seems I've heard that name before.

I got ejected from the yet another girls thread!
This post was moderated for General forum rule violation 1 hour ago. A thread eject was issued. “Leave the politics elsewhere.” Simply explaining the rules haha

I've tried to create this thread to be as eject free as possible. Remember this is So Cal. Where the cool breezers are.

I would consider trading it towards a system 11 machine plus some cash on my part.

I'm looking for a WPT if anyone has one to sell...i have cash in hand

#82 4 years ago

If anyone is looking for a Flash, the Antiquities store at the Forum Shops at Caesers Palace just listed one in their catalog. For $3995! That makes the $5295 Indy above it look like an absolute steal!

image.jpg

#83 4 years ago

Actually...I just noticed they're offering 20% off listed prices in this catalog as a 4th of July Sale. That brings Indy down to $4236...not a bad price...

Flash is now $3196.

And I have no idea how I ended up on their mailing list...

#84 4 years ago

Well that makes my machine look like an absolute bargain! Although Kramer's Flash does look like a better deal than mine.

#85 4 years ago

Did someone say flash?
