I'm going to go on record for what it's worth and say I wouldn't be happy if they screwed over us original buyers (imo that's what selling this for current prices would be doing). Right or wrong, it would heavily dissuade me from buying another cgc pin if I know they can drastically affect the value of my pin by releasing one for less money with more features in the future.

I have no idea. That would be one of the very last things I would say provide extra value in a pin. "O your medieval has PLYWOOD for the bottom?! Here's an extra $200" but if your medieval had a larger screen, awesome topper, and rgb lighting that would for sure be worth something to me
