Will you rerun the "small" version (and will it get a price dump)?

Quoted from PtownPin:they had no choice but to keep the standard model at $8K
They could donate one to me.
Quoted from fosaisu:This is why they're not dropping the price, IMO. They could move hundreds more MMrs if they dropped to a $6k/$7k/$8k pricing scheme, but they know that a sizable chunk of their customers are repeat players and they don't want the MMr early adopters to feel burned. Bummer for the rest of us that would benefit from cheaper MMrs, but I get why CGC would approach it this way.
You mean like selling them a Vault AC/DC Premium just to announce a Lucy Edition a month later?
Or selling Munsters LE as the only fully fledged full color game, getting people to either buy the LE if they want color or a B/W Premium just to announce acolor edition as soon as sales slow down?
Trust me, customers don't mind.
Quoted from Pinless:We should create a list of things CGC can do to keep all MMR owners happy:
1. No price reductions that would devalue their pin
If they lower the price it would make upcoming MMR owners very happy.
And early adopters still have the benefit of having the games YEARS in advance.
Pinball is the only hobby I know where you even think of something like "devaluing". Like, if Sony bring s the PS4 Pro to market (the one with Topper and Color Changing GI) the old model get's cheaper, not the new one more expensive.
Quoted from pinballaddicted:I think PPS and CGC want to keep all their existing customers as happy as possible. Pinball is normally a repeat sale so why would you cheapen the experience for all the original owners when the stats show they will probably buy again?
They have already sold plenty MMr and they will sell plenty more.
Of course that's understandable.
But as posted way earlier, someone like Stern announces their AC/DC Luci Vault right after a lot of people that would've preferred that one, got the Premium Vault. Or release a Munsters Premium Color and hurt resell value of Premiums & LEs alike.
And they seem to get away with it unhurt.
So, just wanting to say handling it the other way around is understandable either.
That's all.
Quoted from Rarehero:Some people want a brand new MM that looks more like the real one without all the extra bling. That's why they're offering the Classic Edition.
Here, me!
I don't like the the design of the larger screen bezel and I'll never understand why people light their speaker grills,
since everything is reflecting on the glass. (But to each their own of course.)
Standard game, brighter and non flickering then an original would be is great for me.
But yes of course I like the color DMD. - But, but, but a friend of mine has the MMr but occasionally it switches back to low resolution monochromatic for a second. Seeing that was kind of a bummer.
